Theme interpretation
The idea of a 1 in a million chance of escaping a dying planet is the theme for my roguelike game.

Very nice game. Lot of fun. Screams for a jaw dropping "no hit run" on youtube. wish it had some kind of checkpoint system (or i didnt get it) still really cool game.
The gameplay is fun and keeps you on your toes the entire time. I think there should be a few checkpoints thrown in, maybe whenever dialogue plays, but other than that it's pretty good!
Thanks for playing. I think you are spot on. A checkpoint system is definitely in the works.
Pretty fun, nice voice acting! Difficulty can be slightly easier tough but I'll consider it as a challenge, hh
Thanks for playing and giving feedback! I agree, it rides the line of challenging vs. frustrating.
Impressive graphics and gameplay, I just wish there were some checkpoints! Overall great presentation and good fun.
Thanks! The difficulty definitely needs to be addressed. Maybe my interpretation of the theme should have been, "One in a million people can actually beat this game."
Really hard. I wish there were some checkpoints because starting over every time is pretty brutal. I really liked the voice acting!
Thanks for playing and leaving feedback. The difficulty/balance was my big takeaway from designing this game. I will certainly be addressing the difficulty.
Fun game, reminds me a bit of Killer Loop (very old Playstation game). The movement is good, very intuitive, but I have to agree with @ColorPallette below, it's got a steep learning curve. Perhaps you could add an 'extra lives' feature? Food for thought for your upcoming updates. Overall good job, I had fun playing!
Thanks for playing and giving feedback. The checkpoint system will definitely be instituted in an update.
Fun but a little too hard :( I kept dying over and over after the first bend where the wooden blocks are and didn't get to see the later areas. Would be nice to have a gentler difficulty curve, but I understand the idea of throwing the player right in there. That's moonshot in its own way haha.
Good work on the music and the voice acting!
Thanks for playing and your feedback. I think you're spot on about the difficulty curve. I'm definitely going to be adding a gentler starting phase to offer players more time to gain skill, and another great suggestion was checkpoints so that players don't lose all momentum.
Looks great, but i just can't figure out, how to pass the stone in the beginning section. Please help me. I went with a puzzle game and now it is amazing to see, how the same theme can produce such different results. I will come back to this and rate your game, as soon as i get an answer.
Thanks for playing. You can shoot with spacebar or mouse click to fire a sonic charge at boulders. I intentionally didn't put any control instructions to add to the chaotic/panicked theme, but maybe that was too much of a stretch. Thanks for the feedback.
Thank you for the fast answer. I would have missed out on a great game otherwise. Good Job!
Whoops. I meant left mouse click. I edited it in my reply. Hopefully that didn't trip you up. And thanks for the encouragement!
Fun game! The texturing look pretty nice! I do wish there was a check point system because I am having a hard time getting past the 3rd section and restarting each time is a little disheartening. A do like the music and the voice acting! Also saw the website, that is very cool. Keep it up!
Thanks for playing and thanks for the kind words. The difficulty curve has definitely been the biggest feedback. It was tough to maintain the right balance given how experienced I got through playtesting. I was too distanced from the experience of the player picking it up for the first time. But strategic checkpoints is a great idea.
Yeah I try to have my game tested by someone who doesn't play games often (my Girlfriend) and they are often really good at catching things you otherwise wouldn't notice.
Nice, though I'm terrible and could barely get past the first corner. :/
Thanks for playing and the feedback. I definitely need to address the difficulty curve by adding a gentler starting track and checkpoints was also suggested.
Nice game!
Thanks for playing and the follow. I actually told my girlfriend about your game yesterday, speaking to how much I liked the completeness of it. I played your other game too and again, have to give you props for the dynamite UI. If I ever need UI/UX work, I will seek you out. And if you ever need narrative design or copywriting, lemme know. I'm happy to help out.
Oh wow! Thank you for that. I will definitely keep you in mind for narrative work.
Ah the voice acting in this is great! The collision on the ship is a bit rough at times, but fun game!
Thanks! My friend Adam Snow is an aspiring voice actor who did all the characters. Check out his portfolio if you anyone needs voice work.
Interesting idea !
Thanks!
