Took me a while to understand how it worked but it is a really nice concept. Good work.

Nice concept! I like the keep moving up/down mechanic for the rocket, good job!

As feedback: did you tried making the screen 16:9? It would allow the player to see the spawning objects for a bit longer and prepare a better strategy.

Thanks for the tip.

Really cool concept! Simple mechanics but still very enjoyable and quite challenging. I enjoyed the power-ups system as well as the way obstacles are popping up.

As a player I would love to be able to have a more smooth control of the rocket, instead of jumping from one fixed position to another.

Good submission! Well done!

The concept is nice and simple, I like it! As an improvement point, maybe it could benefit from some additional sprites / positions for the rocket so that movement feels a bit smoother. Great job!

Controls are quite hard when rocket starts to have some speed, I find the upgrades are downgrades to my ability to maneuver the rocket, but I might be a bit clumsy after all, haha. Nice little game, good job.

Developer

The acceleration upgrade does make it harder to dodge obstacles. The other upgrades are making the game easier though.

it took me a bit to understand that the rocket was moving on its own, but then it was fun to play :-)

Yeah, I was a bit afraid it might be somewhat unintuitive, but I hope it's not too hard to get it.

Simple and fun.  I had never heard of love.js so guess I'm going to google it now.

If you like platformers, please try our game - Lumi and the Dark Night.

The game is made with love2d, which is lua game framework. love.js allows to port it to web. It's quite lean, but fun framework. Try it out, it's good for game jams IMO.
