Waaaah!?! The End Q.Q

Do you plan to progress this game? I must know what happened to her. :D

Some small nits I noticed while playing:

  • I can move the character while a dialog is open (I expected it not to be possible)
  • It’s not always possible to see what’s interactible with and what’s not (can you change the cursor, for example? Or give it a different outline?)
  • If the player makes a break, there’s no way to refresh what happened. Perhaps you could include a diary of sorts? I would like to catch up on previous conversations.
  • The inventory was not that obvious to me.

Now, I’m heading towards looking for the second shoe … if you’d excuse me :)

Thanks a lot for your feedback, I'm glad you interested in the story! I plan to finish it soon and I definitely want to include some sort of journal in the future and improve the other features as well! :)

Thank you! :) there is another object you can use in the first scene with the house (the grass)

I think that I clicked it, but nothing happened. I think that I should try it one more time then

Once you combined both, head back to the pond.

The art is very pretty! I like how soft the colors are, and it reminds me of watercolor paintings.

Developer

Thank you so much! I really wanted to give some watercolor vibes, so I'm glad it did <3

Thank you! I probably would've needed two additional weeks or so to finish it : D  I'll try my best to add more to the story and mechanics soon : )

Played this on stream. Check out the vod here for my thoughts. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1002765258?t=00h44m42s

Thanks for playing! I'm really happy that you like the art : ) I planned an additional game mechanic  but yeah, everything took longer than expected xD but I'm working on it. I'm absolutely determined to finish the story !

ah I really started to get curious about the story! I hope you finish it one day. It took me a while to figure out I could click the pond. Other objects have some sort of feedback when they are clickable, but the pond didn't. even though it is quite a crucial object in the scene 😁. Also really cute artstyle! I love that you made it yourself. One small detail, the lines of the main character are much thinner, this makes it feel a bit different from the background. as if it doesn't belong in that world entirely. but besides that, interesting prototype!

Thank you so much for the feedback! I was actually thinking of adding the highlight-effect to the pond, too, haha :D I hope to finish the game next month, I really want to tell the whole story < 3

thank you! I'll take a short coding break after the game jam, but I've set myself the goal to finish it next month :) I already drew a third scene, but there is a forth one to come and a additional character. I'm very excited to finish it < 3
