hm, I think there is something interesting going on here but with the lack of instruction, it is hard to tell. I think I "died" and got sent to the tic-80 log with errors. I like the aesthetic tho and I am interested in whats going on. Keep it up!

What an awesome premise! A dungeon crawler where you assemble the dungeon each round. This is one of my favorites of the jam. Do you plan on continuing development post-jam?

Developer

actually remaking becuase the source code is bad and causes me pain, probably gonna use love2D or godot for the remake

Submitted

I can definitely recommend Godot!

Developer

actually was either planning to use godot, or because fuck it we ball a simple """custom engine""", probably using godot because i've been using it for the last 3 years

I can't even get out of the room. I see a blue orb, pressed interact button, but it just shows some kind of room selection and whatever I choose will go to the next day in the same room. Doors still locked, I can't get out.
Nice pixel arts though.

Please consider a tutorial.

When I interact with a door I get a console log with some errors trying to load the cartridge :P is that part of the game? I'm confused :)

Nice one.
I liked the assembling the rooms and ever hardening difficulty.
Well done <3
