Very interesting! I like the graphic style and gameplay.

Two thoughts on how you can make this game more accessible without significantly reducing the difficulty level:

1. In games where you get killed a lot (and here you get killed very often!), respawns should be super fast. Now it takes two mouse clicks. Maybe it's a detail, but in my opinion, if respawn required one click and not by mouse but by keyboard (preferably the space bar, which we use to jump anyway), I think the overall flow of the game would improve significantly.

2. Especially in the gamejam, when there are a lot of games to play, I think there should be a checkpoint after each level. I liked the game a lot, but level 3 beat me mainly because I had to start all over again with each death.

Still, very good job!

I like the twist you added to this game, well done.
Please add music next time :)

With the surprise spikes maybe add another collider that  you trigger when you get close, that makes a sound like a trap setting, so the player thinks  "oh there are spikes near but where exactly"

This game has a lot of potential with some polish added. I really liked the controller feel it is very smooth and the falling blocks feel very good gameplay wise. I played it on my livestream tonight and you can check it out if you would like at

You played an "old" version with bugs. theres a new one

Ah ok I just grabbed the top one, I would probably remove the old version from your page I dont think jam submissions restrict you from doing that during the voting period but im not positive on that.

Decent platformer, loved the falling platforms.
Someway to know the blocks are fake before landing on spikes might be helpful?

Good submission, well done!

Good game!!  Original idea the platforms that fell!

I like the visuals, they are polished.  The audio is a little aggressive if you compare it with the visuals.

Good work!!  I would like to see it expanded after the jam.

I didn't like the surprise spikes but the falling platform idea was great. The movement and the jumping is well handled. Good game!

Nice game!

Visuals are great and the levels are challenging!

I wish more puzzle solving and not only boom your dead traps.

The falling platforms is a great idea, I like it. Also the jump and hold to jump higher was pretty neat :)

Good job!

I really like the idea with fake gold traps and the falling platforms. Reminds me of Cat Mario :)

[I just played the GameJam version!] I could add some nice 8bit music and make it possible to respawn at the start of the level not from the beginning!

Well done game :)

This game gave me so much anxiety and trust issues lol. surprise spikes were so crazy and kind of unfair(but fair enough to not make me start at level 1) and I loved it lol. I Got to say level 3 was pure evil. lmao

Well done definitely a 5 star for gameplay and mood.

Fun, but I'm not a fan of the surprise spikes. Maybe if there was a warning that rewarded good reflexes, like the falling blocks. Overall one of the smoother playing submissions I've tried. It feels like you put some real thought into the gameplay controls.

This was a fun play. On level 2 it felt like I was going down forever. Good job on the game!
