I think I did this out of order and maybe that's why I didn't find out how I died. I went to talk to the blacksmith first, who said I went camping, and then I went into the house, and was told to speak to the blacksmith, and then the game ended. But it's cool you were able to put this together and it was nice to play it. Congratulations on submitting!
This is a cute little game :) I got both endings (that took a bit of patience)
Suggestions: make the battery drain faster or have some prop that will drain it faster (like touching the fire). A button to skip to the next line of dialogue would be great too.
You've got something interesting here so congrats on submitting and it's well worth expanding upon.
Just one minor thing if I can: having a white font and a transparent white background is a bit hard to read, I think you should change one or the other.
Apart from that its a good base to work from.
Looks like you've got a fantastic foundation for a promising game! I hope to see more in the future!
Great little submission here, well put together. I hope you continue to build on this and expand the story!
Great game. I do feel there is something missing. I fished it 3 times and i Never found out why I died. Gameplay is smooth. Great use assets. Well done.
Thanks for playing, I hope to release some updates that extends the story and inproves on the readability.
This is a nice chill start to the game. I wish there was more to the story, I could feel that there was a lot of potential in creating more characters and interations between them. I'm in agreement with the other people, the text is a little small.
Keep up the game development, there's something special here!
Thank you, this was my first game I have made beyond tutorials and it is great to hear people like the vibe. I hope to release some more content that extends the story and fixes the text.
Nice chill game. Thanks for posting!
Feedback: Maybe the text could be a bit larger. It's definitely readable, but larger text would make it a bit easier to follow.
Thanks for giving the game a shot and I will look to make the text large the next time I make an update.
I enjoyed playing this game - it finished very quickly, perhaps I just got lucky? Fun experience! The white text was hard to read in the dialogue and it would have been nice to get a sense of progress. I loved the camera animation! Very nice feel/atmosphere.
Thanks for the playing and providing the feedback. I was worried about the text and not sure what to do. I will take a look at other dialogue systems and see what their overlays look like.
