Love your storytelling method with the NPC and the rebuilding with the seeds. Great start.

Really good job on starting an enticing story! The mechanic on the second scene has a lot of potential too (dropping seeds). Overall I love the idea, great work on your first game jam game!

pretty art, good job for your first game.

Good asset selection, the town was pretty!

This has potential. Not so much a fan of the tank controls though, but doesn't put me off from it completely either. I laughed a bit when all the NPCs were talking about the world ending and all the death and carnage, and the music in the background was bright and cheery. I would say, it needs more art direction. Right now it looks like a mishmash of different assets conveying different styles, but I understand there probably wasn't enough time for you to make everything look cohesive. Still, impressive work and congrats on submitting!

Nice game! I really like the twist of the psychedelic second level. It made me curious to see more! One thing that distracted me a bit was the different level of quality of the imported character assets, but I think if you'd want to continue this game idea and grab a cheap character pack from the store, you could make an interesting story game.

Very cool! Definitely unfinished but it looks like you can take the project very far if you wanted!

Obviously the game is unfinished, It was hard for me to understand exactly what to do and where to go, so i spent more time figuring out what was going on then the story. definitely think this was a game idea that would have been much better long term project than game jam. but i bet you learned a lot i am making a similar type 3d story game, and it takes a lot.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I agree with what you said. I'm still quite new to unity and this is something I felt I could do due to previous learning. In hindsight I wish I just built something more simple and more playable.  Time was a big factor and I had rebuild the entire second level on the last day due to build errors. Definitely a learning curve. It's certainly not easy at this stage to knock something up haha!

Hi, can you zip the Assets, Packages, and ProjectSettings together as a single zip file instead of 3?

Developer

Hello , of course I will thanks. I need to include the free assets I used as well. I will make sure I do it after work. Thanks Yang.
