Really cool implementation of the theme, nice job!
I think it needs some kind of effect when you taking damage.
Lovely concept, I really liked the opening scene and the post-processing it had! The death animation didn't always work, but the mechanics are well implemented :D
Thanks for playing the game!
I guess the death animation got ruined when I tried to fix something else :v
The zoom out when you sleep, to think about your strategy was really well done imo :) nice work
Thanks for trying out the game! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed that simple mechanic in the game :D
The moment right after this legitimately made me laugh out loud.
Nice puzzle gameplay, had to think a couple of times as I added up lights on the way. Would suggest the dark areas were a little darker for contrast. Thanks for the submission!
Thanks for playing the game!
I had trouble with the lights in the game so I wasn't able to properly fix the contrasts or properly indicate the light sources. I'll have to look into it for sure. Still, thank you again!
This was cool once I figured it out. The sliding block you use for cover was really cool!
Thanks for trying out the game!
What a cool concept! The mechanics are really smart as well; great execution, a little polishing here and there, but overall, it’s fun! good job! :D
Thanks for playing the game! I'm glad to hear that you had fun playing it :D
I love that switching between night and day changes whether you should avoid the light or shadows. Really cool idea!
Thanks for trying out the game! I'm glad to hear that you loved the idea implemented in the game. :D
Great concept! Loved the mechanics with night and day.
Thank you! I'm glad you loved that mechanic!
Intro and tutorial were very nice!
But I must admitt I don't think I quiet "get" it first level I more or less brut forced xD I was never sure if night or day was better for a bigger problem
Thanks for trying out the game!
I kinda understand where you're coming from. When I was planning the game, I wasn't sure how to damage the player but I decided to make it so that the player gets damaged by light sources during Daytime and the player gets damaged in the shadows during Nighttime. I also designed the levels where some parts can be passed through during a specific time so players will have to swap do Day or Night. Still, I'm glad to hear that you still found the game nice :D
Really cool! cutscenes where nice, the sounds were really good, also liked the graphics, everything came together well, good game!
Thanks for trying out the game! I'm glad to hear you liked the everything about the game :)
Super cute with the intro cutscene and the overall story! :D Also it feels like you put lots of effort into the tutorial, which was super nice to go through with everything being explained step by step as you play. Some of the controls felt a bit weird or interaction sometimes didn't quite register, but I'd say you did a great job with an ambitious 3D project with lots of puzzle content!
Overall great entry, I enjoyed it!
Thanks for trying out the game! I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed playing the game despite the slight trouble the interactions gave you. It's the first 3D project that I released and I still have a lot to learn about interactions, collisions, and movement. Still, I'm glad you enjoyed most of the game!
Wow, one of the best interpretations of the Theme so far. And really good finished, even with an Intro and Tutorial. Keep up the good work!!
Thanks for trying out the game! I'm glad to hear that you think of this game that way :)
Awesome game. While playing I was thinking how it would look in 3d. Well done
Really nice job! I especially liked the 'birds eye view'. I was killed multiple times lol but loved the fact that your progress was saved so you could still carry on through the level. Great fun thanks!
Thank you! I'm glad to hear that you had fun playing the game!
I really liked your voxel are for the character. I wasn't able to get through the second level. I don't know what I was doing wrong. But there was this one hallway with lights and I tried going through that but I kept dying but at night I couldn't go through the shadow parts for the same reason. :( not quite sure how I was supposed to get through it but the game was cool :)
Thanks for trying the game out! I really had to make the second level hard since it's the last level of the game but yeah if you want you can try progressing through it during the day and see if it'll be a different experience. Still, I'm glad to hear that you liked playing the game!
I love your interpretation of the theme of this jam. Everything was cute about this game, and i never thought i'd appreciate a low poly character dressed in a banana suit.
The aesthetic of the game comes nicely together. Not too challenging, but that's how it should be, you can always make it more difficult. The mechanics do what they're supposed to do.
Overall, this is a very well done game.
Thanks for playing the game! I'm really glad to hear that you were able to appreciate the character with a banana suit. I see you're a person of culture as well. :D
Really interesting mechanic with the lights and shadows, the models are adorable and the music is so catchy! really nice combo!
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Credits to the owners of the models and music assets!
Very nice take on the theme
Thank you!
The game looks great. The only down part I found was the fact that I had severe issues getting through open doors... :( If you adjust that, the thrill of making it through the areas will be increased.
Thanks for trying out the game!
Yeah, its a real problem. I tried updating it recently to decrease the chance of getting stuck on the doorways but due to how the movement and collision detection was made I can't fully remove the bug. Still, thanks for trying this out!
Awesome game! I love how the music transitions when you get hit!
Thank you! I'm really happy with that feature :D
