You play as an astronaut captain whos ship is attacked by a mysterious foe. You take a shuttle to and from the surface of planets to retrieve missing ship parts and uncover the mystery.

That was cool! The character designs are cute, and the mechanics are competently implemented.
The decision to single out 'N' and 'M' and name the slots after them was quite surprising, given that this is a Game Boy ROM. The controls are agnostic; Z/X and J/K work just as well on Itch.io.

So impressed by everything you got done! It really captured the "gameboy soul", I loved being able to talk with every character I saw, and the freedom to explore. The storytelling at the beginning was excellent. I was sad when I realized the game was over, I personally would have preferred a shorter complete story in lieu of some of the complex systems. Overall loved this game, I'm hoping you decide to continue developing this because I would love to play a completed version! :)
Really enjoyed the cutscenes and the GB Zelda-style inventory. The systems are there, I would work on improving the feel of the movement/combat if you continue developing this!
Precious GB title to download and run. GBStudio pallete swap can be real sneaky. So I'll judge that part as a SGB title then ;)
This game really captures the gameboy feeling. The cutscenes are a nice addition. I’m surprised this game has so many systems in place (money, inventory, dialogs, etc.)
This is a great entry I enjoyed playing!
Appreciate it, the experience helped me get used to the designing process in gbstudio so I am glad I got those systems in place but didn't get to actually using the money, filling out the inventory, or adding the full 1st dungeon at least, but the systems are there so it will be fun to work more on this project after the jam.
Unfortunately the emotes are a different palette from the main game's palette, so I think that's considered 5+ colors. Besides that, I did enjoy the gameplay and the dialogue was pretty silly and fun!
