How does your game match the theme?
The game takes place in space and tries to reflect that through the art.
The game also follows the rules of the gameboy theme, which should be reflected by the resolution, control scheme, colours, etc.

I love the idea here! The mood that the art and music sets up is very unique too. My only issue, and to be fair I am not a big rhythm game person but I have played a decent number of, but I found this one very difficult. The controls are a bit rough for keyboard too with A and B and the arrow keys being so far apart. But with just a little bit of tweaking the difficulty, I think this could be really fantastic.
First of all, you did a good job on visuals and concept. I like rhythm games and this one is alright considering it was made for a jam. The gameplay felt a bit frustrating however... the lack of interesting breaks in the songs, and on some customers the gameplay would start but no actual impactful music until a few seconds later. (little things like that make the rhythm part feel less interesting and more like random button prompts)
Anyways, I thought the music and art direction were still quite good and polished, and just wish I enjoyed the gameplay more to keep playing. Overall, good work, hope you guys continue to make games.
I'm really not that good at rhythm games, and this one is certainly challenging.
Cats were super cute!
Challenging game, but I like the art! The cats are so cute!!
That's challenging! Very interesting story. :)
Fun rhythm game, would be nice to have the A and B keys near each other or make optional control layouts or something.
Cute kitties! The intro text went by sort of quickly. Maybe tell the player to press a button to continue? I wasn't able to hit many of the actions. Good music!
Thanks for your feedback CrankyCranton!
We're still in the process of fleshing out the crases as we wanted to submit it for the deadline for the #GBjam11 but we're excited to continue working on the project and expand the gameplay, story and littler interactions.
Really apprecaite your time having a little play around and excited to see what you think of the game as we progress and update it for the future!
