That was fantastic arcade gameplay! It's a really good pat-your-head/rub-your-belly sort of game. I appreciate that the difficulty started simple and increased quickly; a lot of arcade-style games drag that out a bit too long.
The audio was a bit loud, it often peaked up to -0.5 dB.
Great work!
Thanks bro but how did you know that the audio was -0.5db lol
I have software to measure the desktop audio output.
( To clarify: this reading is not affected by the current volume setting of my system; it's as close to objective as I can get. )
The -0.5 dB number was an average of the high peaks I experienced when I measured the audio during my playthrough. When I measured it again to take this picture, I actually experienced several clips: the audio exceeding 0.0 dB.
It's mostly caused by a specific convergence of sound effects, but it could indicate that the audio could be reduced in volume at least a smidgen. A volume option would be ideal.
cool
The most engaging gameplay I've seen so far. Organic Soundtrack/SFX. Nice graphics. I've got 51. Who did get more?)
Me, Who is in the team who made the game got 31, you are A PRO!
I got 65. :-D
Having to everytime make a choice: "should i shoot this junk or can i get it with the arm" gives the game a strategic depth othewise often missing in base-defence shoot 'em ups.
The design is crisp, and it is easy to differentiate the objects at a glance.
Music and sound design harmonizes beautifully with the game.
Game feels fair, and it is fun to play!
All in all: Great Jam Game! Well done, yall!
(high score: 45)
Wow you are really good bro. Mine is 35 lol
I really like how there's two things happening at once: collect trash with the rotating thingy, then shoot the asteroids with the little space ship. It's challenging and fun to try and keep track of everything that's happening. It took me a minute to try and figure out what the rotating thingy was for, but once I did, I was in business.
Nice work!
Thanks for your feedback bro
I had a lot of trouble with shooting down asteroids and collecting the garbage instead of doing the opposite, but getting some of your health back when you do collect some space waste was a very nice feature.
Fun game, and superb music!
Thank you for the feedback!
The Piano Ninja was the music composer.
Very well tutorialized mechanics!
Too back I suck at multitasking. Very solid execution and great presentation. The intro was really cool. Good stuff, congrats!
Thanks bro
Having to control two different types of mechanics at once is super interesting; great work
Thank you bro
Balancing between a traditional 2D shooter while also timing the garbage arm is a great idea! I think that the intro cutscene could have used some music and sound effects, hopefully you'll keep working on it after it's done!
Also I loved the explosion animation - my eyes kept getting drawn to it and I would mess up my timing on the garbage arm!
The explosion animation was made by the Missing Pixel Dev. I had the same reaction when I saw it
Wow, that was intense! Nice work. The combination of shooting stuff down and grabbing stuff was a really interesting balancing act!
thank you
this intro is far better of large scrolling text ;D
it was hard , but also hard ... not all jam games do both of these
also art and color palate is very unique and music was really cool
keep it up ;)
(plz check my game out too)
thanks I am gonna check out your game too
The shooting and arm grabbing mechanics are really satisfying!!
The intro and text instructions were a little hard to follow, little tweaks and it could be a really nice game.
The two perspectives was cool to see!
Thanks for your feedback
Btw,what do you mean by two perspectives?
Being able to control the ship and the arm grabber
oh ok thanks
