How does your game match the theme?
The plot of my game deals with space and an alien theme in the sense that the main character goes to an unknown planet to rescue his kidnapped dog from aliens, encountering various alien creatures on this planet. This creates an atmosphere of science fiction and space travel. The game emphasizes the importance of exploration and the desire to learn new things. It shows that the world of space and alien life can be a fascinating place for exploration and discovery.

I almost wrote this game off in frustration because I couldn't get past that first jump with the spear, but so glad I hung in there.  If the wall collisions weren't so sticky this would be more fun.  Still super fun as it is -  incredible art/environment/music.... love it!

Cool music. Nice color palette. Utterly bonkers graphics, love the surrealist backgrounds.

Navigating through this world is quite confusing, though. Significant elements are not distinguished from decorative elements. I'm of two minds about this--the confusion enhances the surrealism, and perhaps that works thematically. But it certainly makes it harder to play.

Also, the control scheme is a little uncomfortable. The more common WASD/Arrow Keys + Z,X/J,K would work a little better.

Lastly, the collisions are somewhat imprecise, and this is something that needs to work smoothly in a platformer game.

Strange, incoherent but unrestrained graphics that make it really interesting!

I like how trippy it feels. the controls are good enough but colisions are very finicky.

John Wick goes to space haha.

I think the backgrounds are great, often the elements are a little confusing. Since you cant interact with them it would be nice to known whats important and whats not. But it DOES give a great atmosphere of strangeness. I think if it would be limited to "plant like" elements (like the mushroom with eyes) it would help, because you would instinticvely known its part of the scenario.

It would be nice if the game was more dynamic too, like the character moves faster and jumps highter. I think this game asks for this!

Good game!

Thank you for your feedback! For the first time I made a game consisting of four colors, so at the beginning I made a lot of mistakes that I didn’t have time to correct.

It's too cluttered! I can't tell what is and isn't important, I keep trying to collect the jellyfish things and often can't read the text saying how many crystals I have left to find. I get stuck on walls, get hit by enemies with no warning, and there's insta-death spikes which I casually walked onto at first cuz I thought they were another background element. Giant plants and hands cover up the background, while the plungers(?) you fire are so small and indistinct you can lose track of them.

All of this makes it a bit frustrating to play. After dying with 18 out of 19 crystals two times on the same level (the giant maze level), I just plain gave up. The music is nice, but I wish there were more tracks, and the alien planet feels more like a scary halloween world than anything else.

All that said, the visuals are nice, and thank you for having save games. Once I'm less tired of dying so much, I can pick up right where I left off.

I liked the jumping here, maybe it's that juicy sound it makes but it does feel good to jump around. The movement overall is a bit annoying though - it's easy to kind of get stuck or land at the edge of a platform and not get there. I really enjoyed the music and overall art style (even though it's a bit hard on eyes).

Thanks for your feedback! Yes, of course I messed up with the palette)) this will be an experience for me, next time I will select colors more carefully.

Plays pretty well, nice job!

It's a little hard to tell what's an enemy and what's just the background. The palette was a little hard to parse visually. I like the purple-for-space idea, but it's a little hard on the eyes.

Yes, that is right! But when I realized this, it was already too late)) Thank you for your feedback!
