I liked the warp and trampoline mechanics. The checkpoints were well placed. Really nice job. I had fun playing!

...for the feedback!

I originally only had the trampoline and ladder, but I added the Warp one for more v a r i e t y !

Also thanks for the feedback on the checkpoints! I appreciate it.

Reminded me more of Celeste than GameBoy but it was a super fun play-through. The new obstacles and items ramped up very nicely.

Developer

thanky, thanky, thank you for your fe ed ba ck!

Now that you mention it, the game is kinda close to celeste in a way. May consider stealing  I mean... borrowing, the dash or make something inspired by it.

Also thanks for the difficulty ramp feedback, that also helps alot :)

I don't have much to add; this is very proficient execution of classic platforming mechanics. Great job!

why, thanks for the smol feedback!

I appreciate it :)

I enjoyed it! I only died once... happy with myself on that.

Controls are nice and tight, everything feels and behaves how you think it would, and it's enjoyable even for the short length. I do which there was more to it, but it's good and simple fun, which is a Game Boy hallmark. Good job!

Long text joke aside, I did plan on adding more, but, being a game jam, plus the fact that I started this one kinda late, I was unable to add more content :(

The music is rad, and the interpretation of the theme is unique! There haven't been many entries about cyberspace :)

My favorite part might be the introductory sections teaching how the game works.

Thank you for your feedback!

I made the game based on cyberspace merely because I wanted to have a take on the theme that wasn't mentioned on the jam page, and plus, I LOVE cyberspace themed things. They can be soo gooood.

Also, thanks for the feedback on the introducing of game mechanics.    :)

This is awesome, nice level design. You got the difficulty feeling pretty good and the controls were quite nice. Impressive work for a one man team!

Developer

thanks for your feedback! :)

I probably tinkered with the controls for a bit, though fortunately I had a old abandoned project of mine before the jam that I basically used as reference for these ones, so it was relatively easy :)

Great entry! The gameplay is really fun and it reminds me a little of Super Jacked Up Tomato Face Johnson. Just the backgrounds are a little too complex to run on the gameboy, but the game is pretty cool!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback Zani!

I legit have no idea what Super Jacked Up Tomato Face Johnson is. Might go check it out. Oh and the background, ye it's kinda too advanced for a gameboy lol, but it looks really nice imo.

To be a game made by only one person in just 10 days it is pretty solid!

Good way to teach the mechanics one by one, I liked it~

Developer

Thanks for the feedback :)

While it is true the jam lasted 10 days, I spent like 6 days trying to lean how metatables work in lua for another gbjam 11 project (and failed lmao), So, this game was my 2nd attempt at it.

You can press Down arrow key+X to die and go back to checkpoint

Developer(+1)

true, I added that because for some reason, touching the top left corners did that and I didn't have the time to fix it. :/
