This doesn't suck. This is fantastic. It has a vibe, there's a story, I love it. :D

Not to sound creepy, but our brains must be on the wavelength. I like yours way more than mine, though. Really nice work.

Thank you!!

The hair lady was absolutely terrifying. The game started super cute then turned horrifying. LOL. Really nice job.

The art was excellent. The concept was cool, but it reeling in killed my hand. I think if I had been playing with a controller it would have been better. I was only able to reel in the tiny fish, but the art made me want those other fish reel (!) bad. :D

Other than the difficulty of playing with a keyboard, this game was great. It's very polished. Well done!

This was cute! It had point and click vibes. The bones of Dave in the tunnel was a nice touch. The interactions with the people (MEAT!) made me want to know where the story was going. The art and music are excellent. Really nice job!

I liked the float jump. The art had a vibe and I liked it. Definitely had a spooky feel to it. The sound effects for the jump got kind of redundant after a bit, but I think if there was music it wouldn't have been a problem.

Ah, sorry about that. We're just doing a web version since it's a game jam game. We have a couple of ROM games on our page, though.

I appreciated the tutorial with clear explanations for all the items. I really liked the spookimeter, too. I loved the ghost sprite and palette. You mentioned you stepped outside of your comfort zone with the sound. High five on that! IMO, game jams are all about learning new skills and stepping outside your comfort zone is how you do that. Nice job!

You nailed the GB feel. The gameplay was simple, but fun. I enjoyed shooting the demons, especially while riding the bike. I'm curious to know where the story goes. Nice job!

I was not expecting a GB game to make me cry, but here I am. Everything started out so hopeful with those delicious breakfasts, and day by day all the hope was ripped away. Everything was very well done, except the storytelling which was exceptional. You are talented.

Fantastic job! I liked how you can throw the glove upwards and it also has a boomerang-like return.

10/10 for the art and the concept. I liked how the girl was possessed after exorcising the demons. The screen flashing at the end of the battle hurt my brain a bit. Really liked the feel of the jumps. I was unable to use the checkpoints except for once when the platform pushed me below the ground. I also couldn't pick up the object to the left of the first checkpoint, after you jumped and the platforms. Even with the bugs, it's still cool. Nice job!

Those monsters are awesome!

It took me a minute to get the hang of it, but eventually I did. There were a few points where I got stuck either between people and a wall or a grate and an object and was unable to go into the one I wanted. All in all it was pretty cool, though.

LOL. We didn't want it to be too hard to make it through the game. IMO, the werewolf was the strongest. Thanks for playing and commenting. :D

Thanks for playing and commenting. The boss was really difficult with the palette restrictions. Glad it worked for you.

Thanks for playing and commenting!

Thanks for playing and commenting! We are really happy you enjoyed it.

Thank you for playing and commenting. It's awesome to hear you enjoyed the music. We definitely pushed ourselves to have a variety of enemies. It was definitely a grind to get it done during the jam. Hearing you enjoyed playing makes the work worth it.

That's awesome you got Commander Keen vibes. When we were discussing doing a platformer, Commander Keen was brought up several times as a reference.

You are correct that each character has its own route through the level.

Thanks for playing our game and for commenting!

Why do you want an exe version?

No, I'm sorry. It's a web-based game.

The animations are cute and the swinging concept is fun. I wanted to see where the game was going, but I got stuck. You should work on this more. It's fun and you could do some cool stuff with it.

This was done really well, I just really suck at rhythm games. I wish so badly I didn't because this looks really fun. Cute art, great music, :( I just lack the skills.

very cool, I like the randomness of the locations so it has replayability, agree with the other commenters that it would be nice to hide from the ghost somehow (under bed, etc), but obviously in a jam game you only have so much time -- your core game seems very promising!

nice mood, very spooky! fun revealing the hidden art

wow amazing graphics, well done!

wow amazing graphics, well done!

Wow amazing art and animations! Fun game too, but I couldn't beat the drums D-:

Fun and nice graphics! Felt good when I could zip through a challenge quickly

I think Jack had a bit too much candy, cause he seems to have quite the sugar rush going on. LOL. This was fun to play. You had a lot going on in a single level, though. I would have liked it if you had split it into smaller levels and gradually added on the complexity. Better skilled players will probably enjoy the rush right off the bat.

Really nice job on this, especially the sound effects. I was jumping on the orange thing just for the sound, LOL. Great job!

Cool idea for a jam game. I really liked the pinball vibe. I also loved seeing your inspiration for the palette. You should edit that link, and any others you have, to open up new windows so people don't leave your game page, though. Really nice job!

The graphics definitely had a GB vibe, but the game was super tiny on my screen, not sure if that was a browser thing. I'm using Firefox. It's a good concept for a jam game. Nice job on getting it done for the jam.

This was really great. The art was fantastic. I loved the animation for hanging on walls and the sounds when jumping and collecting coins. The bug when getting caught on edges got me stuck several times. The frequent checkpoints and being able to restart the area kept me going. Excellent job.

This is a clever twist on sokoban. Being able to push the spirits through objects was cool. The puzzles were well done and fair. I particularly enjoyed the multi-screen puzzles. Excellent job!

This was a great way to participate in a jam. I think this was fantastic and I hope to see more entries like this. Great job!

10/10 for the art. I've rated 37 games so far and this has been my favorite art I've seen. I enjoyed the game, my only complaint is the jump key was the same for entering doors. There was a room where a jump was right near the door and I kept going in the door instead of jumping. It was kinda frustrating. Other than that, the game was great.

It's a cute game with nice art, but nothing about it felt spooky. Full disclosure though, if the spookiness was in the ending, I missed it. I'm not great at platformers and there was a big jump that had me stumped. Nice job on getting game in for the jam.

This was cute. I played all 3 characters.
