I pressed buttons trying to build the first block, and accidentally went out to space with a 0 block ship. Then an enemy crashed into my non-existing ship. 😊

Once I got used to the controls, it was a great building experience.
Congrats!!

I like how you can create your own ship, I was a little struggling with the inputs but after a few minutes of practice it got better. I could find a lot of ennemies (I found only one in 2 minutes) but I still enjoyed the building part!

Really cool concept and application of the theme. Very detailed and competent ship builder for the time frame too. Not sure how rotating parts works, it didn't seem to do anything for me when I tried but that wasn't really a factor in enjoying things. All around very well put together game!

I really like the ship builder and the idea. Unfortunately after a few minutes the frame rate in the html version drops until it's unplayable. Are any objects not destroyed properly?

Developer

Thank you for your feedback, and I'm glad you liked the ship builder and the idea. I'm sorry to hear about the frame rate issue in the HTML version – that's definitely not the experience I want players to have. I appreciate you pointing this out, and I'll investigate to ensure that all objects are properly destroyed. It's possible that there are too many enemies at some point for the web version to handle smoothly, and I'll work on optimizing that. Your input is valuable for improving the game. If you have any other details or suggestions, please let me know. I'm committed to making the game more enjoyable for everyone. Thanks for playing!

This is really cool! I'm having a hard time figuring out what each of the parts do, and the controls took some getting used to (particularly in regards to flying the ship that was built), but I enjoyed trying it out. Being unable to save designs is a bit sad, but given the time constraints of the GameJam I completely understand why a saving system like this wasn't implemented.

Good job on this one!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I've added descriptions for the parts to make things clearer. Your input is valuable. If you have any suggestions for improving the controls, I'd love to hear them. Additionally, I'll be looking into updating the game to add blueprint saving for ship designs. I hope you continue to enjoy the game!

Nice Game! it lacks a bit of explanation, like what each part does. I built several ships, and none of them allowed me to turn. then I built the one in the screenshot. It would also be great if you could try again with the same ship. nevertheless: great work!

I found the ship-building part tricky, but maybe because it's been a while since I played my GB. But I love the concept and that it all works. This is the kind of game I'd spend hours obsessing over. Well done!

Thank you for your kind words! I'm delighted you enjoyed the concept. While the ship-building part may pose a challenge if you haven't played your GB in a while, your feedback is valuable. I'm always looking to improve. Hope you continue to enjoy the game, and if you have any suggestions, please share. Happy gaming!

Maybe label the parts if you have them selected?
