Space Worms, inspired by NASA's Worms in Space program, uses space as its environment. Originally we added stars, tho they looked distracting.

The sole fact that you made a whole AI for this in 10 days is already impressive!

Nice, very Gameboy-like indeed!

The graphics, features, enemy AI and amount of things you added in this is very impressive! Especially in just 10 days!

Although the enemy AI takes quite slow to do it's move, unless that's how it worked in the game you were inspired by as seen in some comments but idk I actually never owned a game boy lol (pls no bully)

Overall, it's a very impressive submission!

Thanks!

My brother and me made it in 4 days because we missed the start, and the AI is a product of post-midnight coding, the day before submission. But let's call it a design choice ^^ The inspiration had indeed quite long thinking times as well.

Oh and don't worry, I never owned a Gameboy myself either :(

4 days!? That's amazing! I'm glad you and your brother got to enjoy!

Hoo boy, this brings me back...

This is quite an astonishing accomplishment. The number of weapons and tools is staggering for a jam. The AI implementation sometimes got stuck and did dumb things, but no more than I did. :D The graphics made me squint a bit, but it is really impressive that you would be able to fit a battlefield of this scope into a 160x144 resolution.

You know what they say: In space, no one can hear you squirm.

This game is technically impressive, it managed to replicate a worms with Gameboy graphics and it worked really well! The game has high map variation and the game's AI works well. The destructive scenarios and water physics are perfect. Great job!

Worms (1) used to be one of my favourite games. Very nice execution! I would have liked them to be a little faster while movement and some more details on the worms. Other than that, very cool!

Definitely GB feel with the sound, music and graphics.  Great job.  I wasn't able to understand the game play, likely due to me not playing Worms before.  Might have been nice to describe some of that as I couldn't quite figure out the controls.  I feel like this game is better than I was able to get out of it due to my limited understanding of how to play the game.

very fun game! I love that you just made Worms :D The graphics are great, and I love the sounds and music. It all fits very well together :)

One weird random issue I found is that an enemy threw a grenade under its own feet, even though there wasn't anything blocking its path, effectively killing itself. Other than that, it's a really cool idea and awesome execution, well done! :)
