How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
Just a mockup for a dating sim on the GB

Darn, this looked like it would have been good!

These screenshots look great! I love the cute style—it fits perfectly with a dating sim. I'd definitely love to go on a date with Medusa! Are there any plans to turn this into a full game, or was it created as a mock-up intentionally?

Developer

Thanks!
They were intentionally created as mockups (because I'm not a developer) to feed my pixelartist portfolio, but if I were to find someone really interested in the project (and willing to contribute) I'd like to make it real, even not necessarily as a GB game

Seconded, I would also like to hang out with Bunch of Goblins.

Developer

Thank you, I had a lot of fun making these illustrations (I wish I could have done even more).
For now it's just a concept, but if I found a developer interested in the project we could talk about making it real!

I am a (fairly) competent developer. If you were interested in building it in GB Studio so that it actually ran on Game Boy hardware, I'd potentially be down to chat! Though that'd come with a fair deal of limitations feature wise, since ya know... old ass hardware.
