Environment and lights are very amazing ! It's very good and there is a good sensation when the player moves and attacks. It is good ! But I don't know if it's my pc but sometimes players lags or the game blocked (for example when I hit with saber).  It could be good if movement effects transparency (during dashes and attacks of saber) dissappear a little bit faster. But overall, it's a funny game. I like it ! :)

I love the structure and the colors, its visually appealing, the saber swing effect is very cool and feels fun to swing at enemies, especially when dashing. I did however often run into a bug where I would be stuck in mid air when swinging at an enemy and respawning would sometimes lead me to be clipped into the ceiling which would at times make me reset the game. Besides thoses issues I think the game is well made and I had some fun slashing enemies. nice job!

Visually, this was very striking! What I'd want to see improved is just telling the player what to do. I didn't clearly see what I was supposed to do and overall, felt very lost and it didn't help that I kept respawning in the pit I fell into in the first room

Soo, good job on the visual side of things, gameplay is quite rough!

The cyberpunk visuals are very nice but the gameplay, menu and fun it needs to be more worked on

What I liked:

  • Graphics were impressive especially for such a short time frame
  • The mechanics were pretty crispy and fun to play around with

What I thought could be improved:

  • I didn't know what I was supposed to be doing
  • I got stuck twice and had to quit out and restart
  • The air movement felt kinda rigid and unnatural

I really liked the environment, I think the visuals were really strong.

The high speed is fun and the rifle felt like it had weight to its shots which was really cool.

My main feedback would be to add a bit more indication on when the player is taking damage and where the damage is coming from, felt like often times I wasn't sure what was actually hitting me or wasn't noticing my health going down.

Overall fun entry!

Very good game, you did a great job :D
I think it would be cool if an overheated weapon exploded after being thrown, it would add some juice.

You're joking me with this first game business! This was soo good! The aesthetic, the fact you upgrade from having a lightsaber to exploding lazer guns, and the Neo-Futurist architecture were soo good. This looks and plays like my fantasy game 10 years ago.

I would seriously love to know how you created this so fast! Props to you and your assistant modeler.

Thank you so much! and yes, this is my first game,  although the reason why it could be so fast it's definitely thanks to the assistant modeler, he is just amazing at modeling! that and the practice i did before (making clone games it's surprisingly effective to learn),  together with events, they are pretty useful to make things work fast and sending information with them is amazing. Also a lot of the colors were thanks to when i was thinking how to make the light saber, well, with light, and by error multiply the color by 10x times, get blinded by the light saber because it made my entire screen white at 4 am and realized that now i have and actual light saber, and a shader that i can use for a lot of different stuff.

That's hilarious. Well, props. I stand in awe.
