Thanks! I wanted to add a little more to those cutscenes, mainly dialogue, but I didn't have time for that. But I kind of like that they're short and ambiguous too so oh well.
I love the art a lot!! Looks great -the music and presentation was great too and the juice was fantastic -felt really good to shoot. Really liked the color palette too!! Awesome job on this! :D

Love the art style a lot! You did a great job! Shooting and all that feels great, maybe enemy hit feedback could use some work. Love that you can't go backwards, it makes the autoscroller a lot more interesting imo.
The presentation is great, but the controls are what really frustrate me. The character moves way too slow, and you can't even move backwards. I couldn't collect one of the candy things because it dropped behind me. It's also a tad strange how the mouse is used to shoot since its position isn't tied to the bullets whatsoever. It's also frustrating how you can't jump through platforms.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree that the character should probably be able to jump through platforms and maybe I'll make that change after the jam. And I should've given more input options for the shooting mechanic. I made the shooting tied to the mouse just because that's my preference whether or not you can aim. But the fact that you can't move backward was a decision I made to fit the theme of the jam and to increase difficulty.
Looks and plays great. I noticed a bug in the background not repeating properly and some of the sound effects came in much later.
Thanks! I messed around with the procedural generation of the background a lot but could never seem to make it perfect so I left it at good enough. Regarding the sound, I never encountered that during testing and I wouldn't know how to solve that issue.

Overall really good, the 10 to win might be a bit mutch, mainly for the time it takes to do so, but I love the art style and juice :D
Thank you. I agree 10 is kind of a lot to win. It was my cheap way of lengthening the game. I actually originally made it 20 to win but halved it.
Nice game, I love the theme - super whimsical! Color palette is really nice! Great job.
