Incredible
Wow, amazing! Love the music, graphics and idea. 5/5 I think it's buggy? At some point it was constantly bringing me back to a checkpoint even though I was clicking the right keys (I know piano, so the only issue is playing on touchpad, but I'm pretty sure I got it all right each time...). I would love to play it once it done and learn the story behind it.
Thank you Holy!
You might be talking about the trap (tragic music). I won't post a screenshot so I don't spoil it, but there is actually one sneaky bubble you need to skip. That is to give a sneak peek of the kind of things I could add in future levels. Let me know if that's it!
Your games are amazingly beautiful by the way :)
Aaah okay, I saw now the sneaky spikes;) I thought it was a bug, because there was no animation of me dying, immediately going back to the checkpoint;)) and I didn't notice the trap, as the game is going quite fast, so I was focusing on the correct notes. I managed to reach the end this time, waiting for more! Oh and if you manage to synchronize better the notes we click with the music, that would be perfect, but I know that may be quite difficult task.
And thank you for the compliment :)
Nice visuals, nice audio. Two things I look forward to the most
Thank you CubeCry!
Nice creative game!!!
Thank you rauldeniainf!
As a musician myself, I am highly impressed by the quality of the music you composed!
The way you mix different sounds and instruments together to create an ambiance is incredible!
What does the omega and lambda stand for?
Thank you! (I also answered your comment on the game page)
In the acoustic field, lambda stands for the wavelength. I thought it was just a cool subtle reference to add.
As for the omega symbol, I didn't really think it through. I chose it arbitrarily for the "rebuild" action. I thought I could eventually develop a whole lore around the symbols and their significations in the game's universe.
Yeah sorry I didn't realize that I left the other comment on the game page, and thought it got lost somehow so I posted here again haha.
Oh I see, makes sense!
Funnily enough I just discovered the most famous Hongarian music band in history was called 'Omega' !
Super creative liked this a lot is kinda hard to play on PC easier on mobile. It is slightly hard for me who knows nothing about music. it would be helpful if maybe the keys were colored on easy mode. I thought i was hitting the correct one and then would die and have to sit through the dialogue again. really love the Audio, the vibe and feel i get while playing and the BG looks crazy lit.
Was this inspired by Ori at all?
Thanks Dorsey Bros.!
Yup, I should have put the checkpoints after the dialogs... my bad! Coloring the keys is a great idea! I'll keep that in mind for the next version.
I haven't played Ori but I listened to its OST a lot. It might have had an influence on me.
Thank you!
Uniquely musical game. You actually can learn some while playing this game. Very nice!
Thanks!
Oh my ! VERY VERY unique game ! <3
am only sad because i couldn't play it after the bridge came, the keys like A# and D# is really confusing, i didn't know what to press, i tried A and D but nothing happened and i kept losing :c i wish the keys was simple and exactly the same as the keyboard :3
i played a lil Music while playing the game though :D here is the keyboard notes <3
DDFGGFDSAASDDSS
Epic game well done ! :3
Thanks for playing VegeTato! (love your avatar)
The # (sharp) and b (flat) keys are actually the black keys on the piano. Long story short, D# is the black key on the right of D and Db is the black key on the left of D. You can always click the "help" button to prompt them directly on the piano.
Cheers!
nice!!! (pls rate my game)
Extremely beautiful looking and sounding game with unique type of controlling.
Me likes!
Thank you!
Very nice and sounds good.
Super dur mais super concept, féerique, bravo !!
Merci MyLittleBlog!
Bien content de savoir que c'est difficile. Hihihi! Le niveau est court alors ça donne un peu plus de temps de jeu XD
Merci!
I like the concept. Thanks to middle school music, I did figure out the keys, but I was slow since I had to keep reciting and counting. The help is really useful. I did seem to be stuck in a loop. Not sure if that was by design.
Thank you voetb!
Glad to know you could find the notes by reciting your scale 😆 I'm an elementary music teacher so I see this game as much as a learning tool than a game.
It's totally possible that I didn't have time to test enough and forgot a potential loop. I'll try to find it!
This will be a wonderful learning tool! I get stuck here. On the right side of this screen shot, it seems like I should be able to do a Sol then a quick Mib to jump over, but instead keep dropping down to Fa so I’m stuck in a loop of those 4 keys. I hope this helps you as you continue to build out this beautify training aid. :-)
Thanks for the screenshot!
The Sol on the right side should get you on the other side of the gap. You just need to do it a little bit later. This section is meant to teach you to jump at the right moment and to give you an opportunity to try again if you fall. The next gaps will be much more merciless mwahahaha!
Let me know if you really can't achieve it. That is the kind of things I might readjust later.
Well done! I liked so much the idea. Very clever.
Thank you Andre!
The Last of Cats looks amazing!
Thank you so much 🙏
Fantastic visuals. Absolutely nailed the atmosphere and the music fit perfectly. A beautiful game to play. Being non-musical I found it difficult at first but the help button labelling keys helped immensely. A great game.
Thank you! Ruined ruins is awesome. Just rated it!
