I love the art and the watercolor looking designs and its very cute. but it is hard to tell where the leaves always go and it is not super forgiving. this would be a fun PBS kids.com game especially with like 2 more levels. cute game.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for the feedback! Yes, a couple people mentioned as well that it's not clear where the leaves should go, so I definitely should make that clearer somehow. I only had weekend to program it so I was happy the game worked;)) I was also thinking about levels or at least different modes. Thanks for the idea - I wonder if PBSkids would accept game from an "outsider", or how to go about it..

The art style and the music were really beautiful. I loved how the game felt really relaxed and nice.

The only downside was how hard it was to figure out where some of the leaves go. Maybe add a slight line to the edge of the shadow leaves? Good work!

Developer

Thanks! Great idea with the line. I was also thinking that the shadows may interconnect, will have to try different options to see how it looks. However they were already less cramped up than in the beginning;))

Developer

This was weird in the best way possible. What is that thing, and why is it playing a balafon? I don't even care, because it plays it really well! Love a good hedgehog, and this was a whacky and wonderful little game :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm happy you liked it :) Yes my mind goes weird places a lot, but it seems so normal to me that I'm always surprised that it's weird to everyone xD But I can imagine this may not make sense at first, but in a way it does. I hope.

where i live wind is the only thing i get

Developer

I hear ya

Submitted(+1)

Cool game! I hate wind...

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I can understand, it's even been proved wind makes people irritated.. I am ambivalent, it depends if I'm at home or not when its windy I guess;)

Nice Game! Your artwork and sounds are wonderful <3

Developer

Thank you so much!! <3

Finally played and rated your game. The art style is abstract and amazing. I lost myself in the whole scene and forgot about the world around me for a moment. The game mechanics and intentions are very well understandable. The music is well pointed and of great quality. Some sound effects eg. of the leafs or Yesh would round that up. Great piece of art in my opinion.

Rob tak dalej!
Pozdrawiam, Wojtek

Developer

Dziękuję bardzo!!;)   Yes, I wanted to add at least the sound of wind, but didn't have enough time. Sounds of leaves are a good idea too. Maybe later :)

Really appreciate the hard work <3 great job

Developer

Thank you very much!! <3

First of all, I adore your use of illustrations and paints! It's great that you've accomplished this in the time frame. The music and the story was a good fit also.

Feedback: For the falling leaves, their correct places were all merged into one big shadow, so I couldn't really understand where some of them go.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much for the feedback! Actually I used some of the graphics I already had, either reused from other project or not used at all before, because I started the gamejam 2 days before the deadline and had to relearn GDevelop in that time (last time "programmed" anything was in 2016 and it was different version of GDevelop).  I came up with the idea and started from making music on Friday night, glad you like it :) Still I hope you like it all :)  Yes I should try and make the shadow more distinct, as a developer it's difficult to imagine how someone else perceives it. Thanks again for commenting!

Simply wonderful. You are first and foremost an artist and then a developer. If there is a rating of 6 for art this game deserves it. Btw. in Croatian language word for hedgehog is Jež like in Polish language.

Developer

<3 Thank you so much for the kind words! Yes I only developed myself 2 games, this one and Karambola long time ago - it is on my profile :)
Oh then the pun also works in Croatian, great! :)

This one is my favorite of the jam, its like simple relaxing art tetris...

Developer

Awww thank you! <3 Yes it was supposed to be like tetris or rather anti-tetris. Glad you like it!
