GDevelop Game Jam #1

Thank you for playing and for the flowers! I think you were slipping on the black ice. Maybe there is too much of it at the wrong points, but it was intended ;)
Now after the jam i will implement a small tutorial before the game begins.

A fun game. I like the design a lot. Health bars might be a good idea. Cute sound effects for the creatures would be nice.

The idea is really amazing! But the controls bug a lot.

If done right, this game is very cool!

Thanks for your feebdback and for playing! Sometimes picking the snow or attacking isn't flawless. But slipping on the black ice is intended ;)

So glad that to hear you will improve after the jam, because it's a great idea!
A small tutorial won't be bad either, also explaining that you can slide on black ice. I wasn't sure if it was a bug lol.
And sometimes the collision area with other objects is so big that you cannot walk past an object.

Fun unique concept. The gameplay feels a bit wonky at times, like finding the right location to get the snow hit detection working.

It was an interesting game. I think it was too hard for me until a certain point where the polar bears just decided they didn't want to eat the baby penguins anymore (not sure if that was intentional or a bug) but still, I was missing 2 or 3 blocks to complete the igloo because of the warming and the seals.

Great game, also I like the music.

Game is very cute and I like the idea, but I'm not sure how it works, I can't seem to lift the snow...? Also it doesn't fit my screen;)) but that's not a big problem. Cool music!!!

Thanks for playing and your feedback! You have to dig the snow first, so hit space multiple times in front of a snow stack until an ice block appears. Then you can drag it to built your igloo :)
For fullscreen you can click on the bottom right fullscreen-icon

Hope you enjoyed it anyway :)

Ah okay, now I get it! It seemed the ice cubes sometimes are hidden behind the snow so I didn't see.. Ok now it's fun! Quite difficult though, the igloo was melting all the time, I wonder how it looks when it's finished. Maybe you could make it a bit less difficult (make the night a bit longer perhaps?). However that's probably the reality for the penguins these days...the ice melting too fast. Good for bringing that to our attention! Love the mini penguins too :)

Take care of the mean seals, they destroy your igloo ;) Hadn't enough time so i would add sounds to the seals when they attack the igloo.
