What a great game with a lot of work put into it -- even voice acting. The humor and variety of characters in town were fun. I sometimes had a hard time seeing the saws coming when I was going really fast, but otherwise this was a great game.

Nice voices and storyline. Maybe some of the sound effects were too loud. The animations and cutscenes are very well done. The music always fits the game. It's a very good game overall. Good luck for the few remaining hours of the jam.

Could you check my game by the way?

Great concept and animation...

I do enjoy even though this game really needs some polishing...

Please compress the video for a balance of bandwidth and quality...

Please make the levels longer and the obstacles to be further separated...

The audio glitch when you hit the saws can be fixed by using 'just once' event condition.

Great job!!! <3

And thanks for telling me how to fix the Audio bug! I’ve been trying to figure that out for a long while😁 :)

I feel like this suffers from a common pitfall of one-button games in general: you do better by hammering that one button constantly than by thinking about when to press it. Having fewer sawblades but laying them out in such a way that the player has to plan ahead would make for a more interesting game. As it is, I'm not convinced I can actually avoid all of them in the first place, and the easiest way to avoid losing speed is to simply mash the space bar to hop over the ones I inevitably hit. It doesn't help that I had to have one hand on my volume control to hear the voices and not be deafened by the sound effects! That said, this is a top-notch take on the theme and it's got a whole lot of character. I'm totally blown away by the cutscenes! I'd happily watch something of this quality as an animation so the fact it's just in there to add story to a jam game is hugely impressive.

Thanks For the Feedback! I think if I had more time, The game would definitely more levels and a Lot more precise gameplay, I’m glad that you liked the cutscenes because the cutscenes and the main character art were the main parts that I had took my time on for this game jam. I am working on another game that has a Lot more gameplay and more than just one button so That’s being improved on ☺️

But Thank you Very Much and I’m glad you enjoyed the story and the art!! ;)😉

And if you would want to watch the cutscenes rather than play, Here’s the link to it on Newgrounds:https://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/873384

There’s also a Lot more animations that I have made that are the same Notch as the cutscenes on my Newgrounds account👍

Looks cool but oh too many saws, jumping from one straight on another and the buzz sound is too harsh. I wish it had longer more chill railing jumps rather than avoiding saws. And saws are hard to spot visually.

I am going to abstain from voting because it doesn't seem to work for me. It looks fun based on the screenshots & the start screen

Great game! I liked the cutscenes and voice acting. The sawblade race was a little difficult for me but overall it was really good.

No need to thank, you deserve it. I hope you can criticize my game as well it will help a lot. <3

This is something completely different. Animations, graphics, voice acting. The only complaint is that some sounds are too loud, but other than that the general impression is excellent. The presentation is top notch. The game was not too difficult for me. I passed the race with brother on the second attempt and the rest without any problems. Great submission.

Thanks for the Feedback! And Wow! SECOND ATTEMPT!!! That’s Impressive!

I got completely obliterated by the sawblades. That opening animation and the voice acting were a nice surprise!  The skateboard part reminded me of a minigame in a an old warioware game.

Developer(+1)

Thank You Very much for playing! And WarioWare was quite an inspiration for the game so I’m glad that the WarioWare inspiration shined through! Thanks for Playing!!

This was great but the sawblades were wiping me out! Guess I need more training.. XD. The cut scenes and animation are very good and I love the humor.

Developer

Thanks for the Feedback! And don't worry, Many people who have tested out the game had gotten stumped at the Sawblades too! So maybe in a Sequel to this game, I'll most likely tone down the Sawblades. But Thank You very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I really appreciate it!!

Animations and cutscenes were so great, and the overall art design was very cool. Fun experience! My only issue (besides some blurry textures) was how easy it was to get stunlocked by the sawblades while skateboarding around. It became sort of a chain reaction once I got hit by one. That could be my own skill, though. Great job - a really good and memorable entry!

Thank You for the Feedback! One thing that I realize whenever I make games is that I always fall down the "Cuphead Effect" where I make it insanely challenging and with many patterns intercepted into the game. Making hard games is Fun but I also have to learn to Turn down the hardness of my future games just a little bit. But Thank You for the Feedback! I really appreciate it!!

Definitely one of the better games of the jam I have run into if only for the novelty of it all. However, there are definitely some issues I take. So many assets you grabbed looked completely out of place, either were scaled improperly or completely different styles. I also don't see any credit being given for some of these assets used. Its always important to give credit to the creators of free asset packs as a common courtesy.

Overall though very interesting and a A for the effort put in.

Developer

Thanks for the Feedback! As for the Assets, A lot in the town I had gotten the info for and ready to add in but had realized that I was to late because the Jam had ended and closed so that was a BIG Mistake on my part, But I'll most likely add the info to the Comments section and the Newgrounds version of the game so Thanks for Reminding me and the Feedback!!
