I think this is the best game of this jam I've played so far! A really good take on the theme, and super polished overall. Like others, I'm really struggling to get past the dogs (though mainly just because I'm a little frustrated having to start right from the beginning including the conversation every single time - checkpoints would help tremendously). The game feels very sluggish overall: the text moves at an absolute crawl, especially considering you can't click to advance. Still, that seems like the kind of thing that could be easily fixed and it's totally forgivable given the time constraints of the jam.

Splitted SoulBeautiful story. I can't believe this is your first game. Really enjoyed it. Only issue I noticed was the slider on the (power bar?) in the RPG battle sometimes might have disappeared if I clicked too many times in a row, though I could have been mistaken.

Just why couldn't you give me ability to accellerate those subtitles... waiting for them takes for ever, just one click to make the text write itself to the end or just speed up to my reading speed, it's not much is it?
