I think it's a cool and different take on the theme needs a bit of polish but I like it hope you can return the favor by rating my game before the deadline

This was a fun adventure game! The art has a nice minimalism to it, and the story is charming. The controls for the decoy ball puzzle were smart — it was a lot less work on the player's part than if it was a manual four-directional plate input.

It took me a couple of tries to realize the two halves of the blueprint code had a number in common

It took me embarrassingly long to find the forest bulb, but then it took me ages to figure out what the third forest code said. It was quite frustrating differentiating whether it was fancy '1' or fancy '7', especially since I had to put in the entire code every time.

All-in-all, great work!

Excellent game, I really enjoy the visual design and it feels like a legitimate game already! Even down to facial expression changes in dialogues.. Nice little touch, overall really good work!

Boy, trying to get a good ending in this game is tough! I had to turn my touchpad sensitivity to max so that I can use my keyboard and click and drag the green batteries around. But it was worth it.

Oh man, that was brutal and excellent! I spent more time playing it than any other game in the jam so far, and I reached the Bad Ending unfortunately. But I see from the comments that I need to explore the maze level to reach the Good Ending, but I am also scared to do so for obvious reasons lol! Great job!

And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!

I think the art style is pretty cool and unique, and the story is nice, you also managed to make a 2d game a lil bit spooky/scary so I applaud you for that, solid game with solid puzzle elements! good work

If you've got the time, I'd appreciate it if you could play and rate my game to :)

First things first, the dragging is a bit jank, the orb just comes off because I moved my mouse too fast.

Obviously the music is easily the best part, this combined with the lighting(or lack thereof) give every set piece a bit more "spice".

The art, while basic, is effective. I really love the character's souless eyes.

The gameplay is also rather basic, but the last stage really shake things up.

God it annoys me how a game with such low level graphics(no offense but i think u knew it wasnt the strong suit) can be SO GOOD. well done! i had so much fun. is there more then one ending? i got the bad ending one, which was really funny lol

Also, what are the chords ur using for ur music lol

Developer(+1)

the graphics are made to mimic the old 2010s flash games along with the music! thanks for the review :D.  A hint: You have to explore the map in the minigame level to find the good ending

Lovely little adventure game.
Nice soundscape of gloomy melancholic world.

I found the codes in the lab but entering them forward, backward, mixed, interlaced didn't offer any results...

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

it's a seven digit code
if you're still stuck, the answer is 3009124

Hidden gem! The music is fantastic, 10/10. Did you make the music yourself? I think the text generation is a tad slow, but the story is a nice grim set piece. I played for a few minutes (the gameplay itself isn't amazing, it's moreso I want to see where the story goes). Polish it up a bit, and I think you got a nice little game here!

Developer

thanks! I'm more of a musician than programmer. :D

I think there is still room for improvement but I love it!
