  • I only ended up playing it single-player, but the fact that you did multiplayer and got it working is always a great accomplishment for a jam. It has a nice aesthetic. I was hoping that I would actually be running away from something, but thematically it was there with the ticking pencil in the back. I actually find it sort of interesting that the jump is so limited. If that's intended, I might try to lean even more into that, maybe with some verticality. Timing puzzles but you have to climb up platforms that pop out of a wall.
  • Great concept. Awesome visuals. Controls were a lil clunky (using Windows build, WebGL was too laggy on my machines). Challenging (couldn't get very far), but a great jam game!
  • The sudden drop of forward momentum when jumping really hurts the game, as well as the first person camera. It makes the primary action of the game not very fun to do, which brings down the enjoyment. If the jumping was handled better, this could be a lot of fun. The art is great, with the sketchy outlines to everything and music is enjoyable.

Holy cow! Network multiplayer! And they said it couldn't be done- Really cool that you were able to implement that in such a short amount of time! One thing I will mention though is that the jumping is a little finicky! I think the jump doesn't quite go far enough, and that feels really jarring when playing! But it was nice to be able to play with my friends even though we were all in different locations! Great work!

Music is really enjoyable.  It is fun to try and race against the clock.  I got just a bit motion sick, but nevertheless fun to play.  Some camera movement is not fully stable/smooth and a longer jump might be nice.  Overall, great visual design with the appearance of being drawn.

I just love this cheesy synth song. Really cool shader effect. Not sure what the giant pencil is erasing ominously but I keep looking back to it. Great job on the multiplayer, usually a pipe dream for a jam. As others pointed out, the controls need a little tweaking to "feel" better, but I still wanna say they're decent enough, I know personally it's hard to fit tests and tweaks into a jam game.

I thought the jumping was a little bit stiff and wished I could do more of a running jump. Other than that, this is an interesting concept that I can see being expanded upon, with more levels and different obstacles, something like running a gauntlet! Also, I didn't realize this was a multiplayer game, perhaps that facet could have been pointed out somehow in game.

Very impressed you made a working networked multiplayer game for a jam!

My mind is kind of blown that you made a multiplayer game for a game jam, well done. Interesting art and music, good pun in the title. The controls/jumping really hold back the rest of the game though.

Interesting platformer. The jumping feels like it could use some more improvements to make the game feel better. Although the mechanic of racing against time doesn't seem implemented yet, seeing a giant erasing pencil behind you seems menacing. If you plan on continuing development, I would recommend switching to third person, that way the player will naturally be able to see behind them without turning around to see the oncoming threat for more tension.

Looks amazing, great concept and the soundtrack fits really well! I think the controls could use a bit more polishing, but other than that, it's great.

(Plus, I love me a pun)

The art is really cool! I like the shaders used too! However, the movement feels stiff. Jumping from platform to platform is pretty tough since you seem to get a lot of vertical height, but lose a lot of momentum.  Took me a couple of tries to get past the platform part, but maybe I'm just bad at the game. Solid game though!
