I did end up getting to see the rest. I think ya'll have something that could really nail the cute/horror niche in a short amount of development time. Really solid job!

I just love this cheesy synth song. Really cool shader effect. Not sure what the giant pencil is erasing ominously but I keep looking back to it. Great job on the multiplayer, usually a pipe dream for a jam. As others pointed out, the controls need a little tweaking to "feel" better, but I still wanna say they're decent enough, I know personally it's hard to fit tests and tweaks into a jam game.

oh wait

Incredibly realistic game. One suggestion I have is to add a project manager to save the team from wandering around in 360º no scope circles. Delegating tasks and axing ideas might bring that % up a little :)

please add d-pad support

This game is so cute. Lint Fuzzy and their friends have great names too.  Even though it was short, three levels did a good job of showcasing the game idea. It did take me a moment to figure out the number of jumps on certain objects was what you meant by the traffic light metaphor. The double jump seemed more like a high-jump-off-of-the-next-object, which is fine but confusing in description. The visual design needs some more love put in but it looks cohesive and simple assets are fine for a game jam :)

I'm a sucker for choose-your-own-adventure games, even if it's just an office adventure. I couldn't relate more to the one named Coffee. I think it's very functional, and your design choice to use Ink allows you to focus on writing and keeping track of player decisions. It was a little unclear how to make progress, I found myself just doing anything I could after characters had no more to say. I assume that will become obvious as you add more paths, though, so take that as very light criticism.
Kudos to the artist for giving an aesthetic feel to it all.

I loved this game idea when I first heard it and I wish it could have played out more, with the walls and sandcastle dealing with being washed away.  Great job with what you do have, though! The crab collecting is still fun. I felt like I had infinite sand, which was nice because I placed a ton of stupid walls at first.  But probably not intended. You all have a very fun potential casual game if you don't give up here :) Shout out to moog for that absolute banger with the Very Nice Horns i'm jealous of

Reading everyone else's comments makes me feel stupid because I keep breaking the game somehow.
But hey, bug testing is valuable! When I put fat on the cutting board for the pastry recipe, it seems to persist, and the mixer bowl eventually won't let me drag anything from it. It seems stuck from there.
If you can help me make it to the "part 2" I'd love to leave a rating c:

Always nice to see someone put their own feelings through the ol' inspiration machine.
I realize this is less of a game than an interactive experience. It looks and sounds great, and the erasing function is good. I noticed if you start erasing too soon it triggers the timer for the next "page", which sometimes overlaps the voice lines.
From an artistic perspective I think that it could be an easy and fun way to add to the effect with different shaped brushes relevant to the memories. Like an eyeliner pen shape for the part where you mention makeup. Good job!

Just amazing honestly. Like Vince said, I know that eye was a monster of its own to code. Maybe my only criticism is that you didn't have enough time to fancy up the art and effects more. The music is pretty compelling, too!

Thank you lots for playing! Totally fair about the fact that the customers don't express Fail/Success yet. For our final submission we didn't quite have time but there are scripts , monologues and sounds to weave together that are almost ready! After review is over, we'll post any updates/fixes to the game we implement.

thanks so much! The radio cutoff bug is known, it happens when the sink audio plays.  If you want to listen feel free to sit in the closed store and unmute the radio.  Here is the album page https://newtypefuture.bandcamp.com/album/take-care-washbear

I can see this getting really entertaining checking out what people have to say about you after you die, it's a fun way to do a "collect all X" quest. It would be really fun to find the memories in all sorts of different objects. I fell off the world a couple of times but it's not too easy to do. Looks great visually! The shatter effect is always cool.

I keep dying to the sandstorm randomly and I'm not sure what to do exactly, but I love games like this and like where it's going. If you have more time to polish it, I'm totally willing to help you out!

Really cute and decently long enough to have a few intuitive puzzles! Love the song. 5/5
