Survived 9 nights (only played twice though), I felt like it was quite easy understand the game and I dont mind the fast pacing! I'd like more motivation for the farming, it could give extra life or speed. Really liked the hidden room at the side. Only thing I'd like to point out as a graphic designer :D The text is hard to read on the BG, I'd go for more contrasting red (or just white).

Yeah we did not make it quite clear but the buffs stack - you get faster, gain more HP and gain more damage. (Your guns change graphics, sounds and all!)
The enemies steadily increase in HP and maybe even in damage (I wasn't programming that part I am not entirely sure)
So you are meant to farm every night or the enemies get out of control.
We are sorry 'bout the thick text. We had it there for most of the developement and when we decided last minute that it is truly bad we tried to make it smaller but we got into sortoff "css hell" and couldn't make it smaller without it moving into weird corners and it was couple hours till submittion and I (The only one who semi-competently understand Godot's "css" had about 7 hours of sleep in 3 days and had no willpower XD)
Ok, I am not a pro-gamer so I don't think I have figured out how to stay alive for more than three days... HOWEVER, I really liked the idea (and the trees becoming enemies and vice versa was amazing). If you had more time (like one extra day), I would appreciate some "easy mode" so that the day would last longer or the enemies would be slower (but that's just because I keep on getting killed like this).
Overall, a really nice game. Maybe the font chosen for the time-change was a bit strange (didn't really fit the overall vibe of the game), but that is a really small thing. The controls were nice, the music was thrilling and the idea was cute.
I love the mechanics of the enemies and blood turning into trees and flowers in the day. It let's you prepare for the night ahead by thinking about your positioning and i think that's very neat! I could use a bit more time during the day but i can imagine it's more of a skill issue on my hand and not enough time sunk into the game :Dd
I didn't mind that everything was happening so fast, but it would be much nicer if I had some time to look around first :D Also the game told me to shut up :(
Very interesting game idea and use of fast gameplay! :) I was a bit confused as to what was going on and why it was happening though. Something keeps chasing me in the night and as I run away from the enemies, by the time I get back to my little farm, it's night again. :( I understand that the goal is to stay alive as long as possible, but I'm not sure why it incorporates a quiet day and not just a night, because I'm not gonna make it to my farm anyway. Or maybe I'm missing something or playing it wrong. :D
I suppose we got a little too good at playing the game (since we were playing it almost as often as developing it XD)
So we liked it this way.
We had an idea to add a day/night lenght slider to the settings, but eventually did not do it as we did not think it was that important.
Well. Now we know we should have let you be cozier.
I loved it! It's like the short term repeat kind of fun, but in that way it serves the purpose perfectly. I can see it being more polished, but hey, that's not the goal in 48h right? :D
Also it would be cool to have something to grind like on the outside loop. Since you lose all the stats every day and it seems like you don't get more time/faster gathering with more days, the game is losing on the overall goal of playing it.
Overall, nice idea, cool theme and atmosphere. I had my fun with it.
Interesting take on the theme, however the game lacks clear goal, or any goal whatsover. Theres a number of things you can do but none of them really matter, and they are not connected in any way at all. It would be cool if the harvested or mined things during the day would help me fight, or if the enemies gave me some reward for killing them. The switching is very fast too. Imagine a player whos barely figuring out the controls, and suddenly, you get killed by zombies that spawn on top of you. Overal it had potential, but it lacks in many way. Anyway, still congrats on delivering the game
Straight after reading the description I wanted to say that u guys would be cool marketing specs:)
Anyway, unfortunately, the game seems unfinished everywhere, except the graphics.
Dont like the text when the day and the night come, its unreadable and especially when night comes I cant see enemies hitting me bc of the text. Dont like decision to make that short time for day and night and spawning of enemies, they literally surrounded me straight after the start of the night:(
Also what would be lovely to see:
1) different types of weapons
2) limit of bullets for used weapon so I would look for another one somewhere on the ground
3) Usage for items, that the player collects

I did not understand what the goal of the game was although I read the game description. I tried picking up the vegetables, eggs, and ores, but they did not serve any purpose (? - at least what I managed to discover). The hordes of enemies eventually always stood around the garden and I had no way of escaping them, they simply surrounded me and because I couldn't push them away, they ate me alive. The art is nice, but I'd prefer the texts smaller, as they are hard to read when spread all over the screen.
