How does your game fit the theme?
Only the magic dagger of the Tupe tribe was able to imprison the spirits. The problem? This dagger was too savage to be controlled!

Very challenging, but fun nonetheless

This game is very good and have so many levels to beat.

I liked how the knife jump in the screen, it’s so “Out of Control”, in diverses situations I can’t figure out how to control this :).

The final boss is so hard, I needed to use a bug of the game where, after kill the main monsters, I stood defending with the mouse and waited him die.

Nice entry

Nice idea for a game! If anything I would make it harder - maybe more obstacles than just the empty field, or have the 'lethal spinning knife' sections be less predictable in their direction? But easy to get into the swing of

Really like the art style! Enjoyed playing, like a cool twist on breakout

Cool mix of mechanics. Cute style. Nice with a little bit of story. Well done!

Interesting take on like, a pong style game. Would have been more interesting if there was something other than just the player to defend? The jam version saw me huddled in a corner and I was practically unkillable then. Or perhaps a snake-like system where collectables spawn on screen to encourage the player to move? Or enemies that knock the player around, or spike traps in the corners.

In any case, nicely done.

I really liked the concept and the post game jam is better in every way, too bad you didn't have time to make it.

Nicely done.

I think the game at its core is solid with a lot of potential for variations. I think that amongst the chief of these could be a way to dissuade the player standing in a corner with the shield facing out - perhaps penalising being static, having a breakable shield or some less predictable dagger paths.

I'm sure with more time, this could be fleshed out into a really frenetic experience.

too bad you couldn't fix it in time, but the art is very cute

Hey Kaish!

You made a really fun game for the game jam. Unfortunately the version before deadline seems broken, but the post jam version shows what you were planning. With that in mind, i would add some ui elements to the post jam version so i could see number of kills, what kind of level i was at and maybe make something more out of the really neat sigils you made for the bosses. Maybe you have to collect the 4 sigils to free the people. Have a levels map in between where you move towards the boss and once a boss map is completed you see the collection of sigils becomes more and more complete.

Awesome work! Better luck getting it all within 48 hours next time!

If you have time I would love it if you could try my game and give feed back. Its called Drone.
