This is my favorite kind of art style that is simple but elegant! Pretty simple idea but it was fun enough to keep playing!

Great game! It's fun and I like the aesthetic. One change I'd suggest given how the game feels right now is to add more tanks but have everything die in one hit. I feel like with the excessive amount of power the tank has, it'd feel much more satisfying to take something out in one hit (as imo it feels a bit redundant to hit the same tank three times), but you can add more tanks to increase the pressure to balance it out. Additionally (this is a minor nitpick but) I'd like an option to turn off the chromatic aberration, as I'm never usually a fan of it in anything. Otherwise it's great!

Thanks for the feedback! Given more time, I'd definetly make it an option to turn off chromatic aberration. The one shot kills would also be a cool addition, I'll keep that in mind!

I like how things became crazier on every stage. Also liked how the shooting felt so powerful, because of the recoil and the visual effects. I wish the levels would change automatically, so I didn't need to go to back to the menu to progress.

Thanks for playing! I do agree that there should be a next level button, but I ran out of time. :)

Nice game, reminds me of that wii tank game ! A multiplayer version would be neat !

I really like the clean graphics. The game also feels good because of the satisfying feedback after firing. Great job!

I really like this. It's polished, fun and chaotic without resorting to simply "bad controls". Well done!

a bit wacky and a touch short but props to any unity game that looks this good and runs this smooth

Very nice game! It has a cool unique look that I really like. More importantly, it proved to me that even some very crazy mechanics can make a fun and playable game! The only thing that I perhaps didn't like is the fifth level, where it gets just too wild and the out-of-control element of it suddenly turns annoying. The first four levels did a better job in my opinion :). Great one, well done on the game!

Looks like we both made a tank game for this jam.

In some ways I kind of feel as if this is the opposite take of my game. In your game the movement is controllable but the recoil is not. In my game the engine moves erratically but you need to use your cannon's recoil to somewhat direct the tank.

In both cases though... it seems both of our games are... "shoot to move"

(Took a few tries but I finally beat the final stage)

That sounds really cool! I'll try out your game as well, it sounds pretty interesting!

super clean and effective visuals. I honestly ended up just using the recoil to move around the map, which was super fun! I had to aim it up so the bullets wouldn't bounce off the walls and hurt me. I could see this translating really well to touch screens!

thanks a bunch for the feedback! I'm glad you had fun playing my game :)
