Simple idea with great execution, nice :) I feel like you could have capitalised even more on the humour, perhaps with more time!

How does your game fit the theme?
You are driving a lawnmower with no brakes that constantly stalls which prevents turning and cutting grass. You are trying to maintain a lawn that has grown out of control on a vehicle that is out of control!

Honestly, the idea is not terribly original. Vehicle out of control... yeah I have seen them. But there was none quite like this. Everything you do is out of control. No brake, ok fine. Weird steering, yeah that is fair but not crazy creative. Lacking gas cap, ok that is kinda funny. But then we get the best part.It randomly needs restarted. I love this because it locks the wheels and the speed so you lose control, but getting it back is not all that hard. Well done.
Well, here's my list of "i liked your game, really fun, but i don't like...":
- The first person camera: In my opinion it was 3rd person (or at least turned a lot less...)
- The fact that if the engine is closed the mower keeps his velocity
- How the turning works. i know is intentional, but still... made me confused a lot
- Rocks. Why are rocks in my garden??? (Well, from a game design perspective i know, but still you get the point...)
- That, instead of a percentage it show me the quantity of grass cutted
- The thing was too fast, both in moving and steering
- That my house is apparently a LIE (oh, and apparently i don't have any neighbours... and i'm in a flat plane...)
All valid. Glad you liked it :)
- I was toying with the idea of freely looking around, and having to use the mouse to interact with everything (drag the steering wheel, click and hold the ingnition key) but limited time meant to the bare minimum to get it working
- I think in future I'm going to have the engine dead slow you down, not a full stop but not full speed
- I don't think I'll change the steering, but I may add a sensitivity option
- Rocks were an easy model to add :P I was hoping to have more varied obstacles like trees, bushes, and a garden to avoid that would penalize you
- Cause of how I was calculating cut grass a percentage didn't make sense from a dev perspective, but it probably would make more sense from a player perspective
- I think the speed adds to the chaos, but perhaps there could be difficulty levels (like mariokart's 50cc, 100cc, 150cc) that change the speed
- Again, I'd love to add more realistic decoration in future
This is a great game! Super simple fun concept that actually fairly challenging. I will say the swinging camera is pretty disorienting, and would probably have a locked camera looking down on the scene. Still though, great game.

Great game! I love the idea. I had motion sickness after playing the game though...
It's a fun and challenging game at the same. Also the double-out of control pun got me in the description. Good job!
Really fun and challenging to keep the mower in control. Great thinking on keeping the rotation on even after you stop pressing the keys(hope that's intended). And you definitely need a new mower.
The rock obstacles are not fun, maybe a ramp or speed-uppper like in a racing game and bigger lawns could have made it a bit more fun, overall decent job
Fun! Took me a minute to realize I had to restart the engine when it sputtered out, but I quite enjoyed it. Why anyone would put those giant rocks in their backyard is beyond me, though, I only managed to get 2 stars.
This isn't a problem specific to your game, it's pretty much every Unity game, but I use an ultrawide display on my computer and unity just zooms in to fit the width, so forcing full screen means I don't see the top and bottom sections of the screen and I couldn't see some of the UI.
Controlling the steering wheel instead of the steering is just genius. Excellent take on the theme. Great work!
Very fun game, who knew it would be so stressful to mow a lawn lol. I really liked the fact that smacking into obstacles didn't lead to a game over but instead running out of fuel which made the game much less frustrating. The small text about the background of the lawnmower at the start was also a nice touch, although you probably don't have to show the text more than once. I felt like the complete silence after stopping the engine also felt quite strange so I would recommend putting in a quiet background noise when that happens. However, these are small issues and overall I really enjoyed the game, great job!
At first I was going to give the lawnmower health, but I had already put in the "gas" as a timer and figured why not combine the mechanics. Glad you liked it :)
I definitely agree with hiding the text after the first run - if I get time to update it I'll definitely remove that, I wanted to but it was way quicker to always show it.
I'm not sure what would be a good background sound when it's off - should it just be like nature/ambience, or like squeeky wheels / gears?
That was a lot of fun! losing control over my mower when the engine stalls really made me laugh. The ignition thing where you have to hold spacebar is a nice touch. Overall a fun game and good take on the theme!
Managed to get 2 stars at the end of a few runs! The engine stopping was annoying was first but I learned to adapt around it eventually. It's actually really satisfying to have it go down but start it back up without crashing into anything. Overall a nice fun game!
