Really cool to see such a game in the jam. I don't really play horror games (the only one I've played is DDLC) but I think this is really neat since it's unsettling but not overt or direct about it. At least when I played, I imagined this was a game of checkers during something like a war and was a last attempt at trying to make life feel normal when you could die at any moment.

Great job capturing the vibe, felt very dark. The pieces moving about on the board made them stop working sometimes but I guess that just adds to things being out of control ;)
