Dang that was dark. I really like how it changes as you lose sanity.

Really original concept and a fun game! I really like the use of the theme and the music and visuals created a really tense effect. However, the only thing holding back the game is the lack of polish, the game really needs a background, even if it's a simple one and should probably be in some kind of setting. Also I think the walk animations could do with a lot of improvement, although I did like the sprite art, especially the art for the main character. Finally, I think there needs to be a big punishment for killing an innocent player to make the game have more of a purpose. However, overall I enjoyed my time playing it and the game has a lot of potential, good job!
I like it, super dark. I feel it did a good job of illustrating the concept you were going for. Could use a bit of polish, the characters despawning right as I was getting in range was super frustrating. Maybe have just the ! despawn. Especially if there eventually is a punishment for killing innocents, could add a bit of tension to each kill. Overall well done!
Well, here's my toughts:
- The game is really dark. I'd suggest setting a warning
- The menu isn't that visible, don't know it's a good thing to do...
- Lokking around with the player seems to don't serve any purpose...
- No motivation to kill people, or get money
- No punishment for killing an innocent, the game seems it can't be losed
- It's so frustrating when you are chasing a people and it despawn right on your face
- No rewards for perfect playing (took me a while to test that)
Overall, i liked this game a lot, and i probably play it for more time than i should... Good Job!!! 👍
I'm not sure how exactly the insanity thing works. Is it just a cap on the number of kills? Is there actually a way to lower it? That seems like something the game should make a tad clearer. The way people poped in and out of existence was distracting and, when following a target, annoying. I think this was really interesting, but I feel like I just didn't get it.
I really liked the idea. Using your mental health as the end point was nice. I think that with a little more difficulty (like people searching for you or something like that), this game would be much more fun to play. Other than that, It was pretty fun too play, it was cute and spooky at the same time, and the transitions between different mental states was really well executed. Pretty good game!
As a side note, I'm not sure if I'm the only one but, whenever the volume of the game was lowered betwen menu transitions, my browser's volume did the same. I was using YouTube... weird...
this game is adorable, the stab animation moment is very dramatic and I love that part.
The game is pretty fun the creepy atmosphere is on point. If there is more time to work on the art it will be the perfect horror game.
Fun upto a certain extent. It is pretty easy to hit an enemy and avoid hitting the civilians, should increase the difficulty by adding a new feature like time for next correct kill.
Loved to play as John Wick to be honest
The atmosphere was suitably creepy, but I did not really feel the sense of being out of control. The controls themselves work well enough, and the difficulty ramps up with each kill, but it feels incomplete, like it needs a game loop or a particular challenge to master and improve on.
I think you can add a store to spend money, which could provide players with incentives to carry on the murder.
Grim thoughts, what if killing innocents in fact yield more, way more money?
having goose bumps just by thinking of that.
I made 2000$ before I lost control! Very fun! I learnt that random murder is bad for your mental health which is a good lesson to learn! I like the little cutscene when you kill someone. Game is a bit minimalistic though, but thats okay!
