I saw a typing game and, being someone disproportionately proud of her typing skills, immediately could not turn down the challenge. Verdict: it just seems like a normal typing speed exercise, but with the added challenge of sometimes wrong letters happen at random for no reason, and if you're going fast enough (like I was), you only register that it happened after you've submitted the word and there's no time to question what happened or why. Fits the theme well, but it's not enjoyable.

That being said, Classic mode is an utter delight. I'm probably going to use it as a warm-up for writing sessions for the forseeable future. <3

Well, i'm using a different layout from the on that's expected (it's still a query, but the special character are misplaced): for a game like this one, i think not having the same keyboard layout, or some sort of options to adjusting it, is a big issue...

But it's a game jam game, after all so i'll close an eye on that... Overall is a good game... 😉

cool game, I love the art and I'm not a fan of the gameplay, but it's well executed

God does that get hard x) I love the atmosphere, with the narrative text, visuals and sound coming together in a really polished way. My favorite text on uncontrollable text typing yet!

Best game I have played from only 2 days of development. Bravo!

Bot a fun and funny game. The visuals and sfx are crisp, the mechanics enjoyable, and the difficulty challenging. Excellent work!

The typing was pretty clean, enjoyed the Shakespeare. Reminds me of typeracer.

I think I enjoyed the typing in this game. Unfortunately I also had problems with punctuation (I'm on a Spanish keyboard layout; though supporting different keyboards sound like a nightmare for gamedev, especially for a jam).

The art was quite nice and the whole game felt flowing well, the sound of the keyboard was also quite good. I felt some levels might be a bit too long? Or I just type too slow. It might be interesting to see the sheet of what we wrote highlighted at the end of the level, I barely had time to look at it while in game.

I unfortunately didn't feel the main "monkey makes problems" mechanic was fun to me, though I'm not sure how one could add challenge to a typing game without it becoming frustrating, and it might also depend on the player.

I liked the premise, and the execution on the main idea is pretty good, the whole game also feels very cohesive; great teamwork!

Typing felt pretty good, sound design was on point!

Love this, very cheeky!

A really smart take on the typing game genre. The sound effect is very satisfying. I would suggest to have an indicator showing when the monkey is going crazy.

Really fun and awesome idea! Unfortunately it doesn't work well on my keyboard because I can't type some characters such as " or ; but I can understand that

Cool game.

Cute idea, really smart to have a wide variety of texts so people can try to find something they're familiar with. The graphics and audio design kept the game moving at an energetic pace. I don't think I'm a very good monkey.

very cool game!

The idea is great, unlucky for me I have a non-english keyboard layout and have a hard time finding the punctuation and stuff. Nontheless I enjoyed the the experience.

Typing game is already hard for me. Making it timed and someone randomly type something in the mix is nightmare for me.

Nice game anyway.

Very original idea! I play screeching as the monkey does. Really love the atmosphere that makes a frustration-inducing game very casual to play.

Haha... I loved this game! Great job!

Really fun game and original idea! The monkey's interactions with the player were really funny and kept the game interesting. I also loved his shriek whenever you made a mistake. There was quite a big bug that meant you couldn't type some punctuation or use the capital  letter letter button (although you could still use shift), making some words impossible. However, overall the game was still very enjoyable and felt well polished, great job!
