Had a lot of fun playing this entry! Awesome use of the theme, and the core gameplay loop was really fun. First game that does something cool with the mouse.Only feedback would be; maybe give the obstacle that tugs your mouse some telegraphing? :D besides that, amazing game!
I'm glad you had fun.
Do you mean telegraphing for when they are about to move? Yeah that seems like a good idea.
I tried to give it telegraphing for when they are about to tug your mouse with having the beam to your mouse turn red when they can see it, though maybe that's a bit hard to see...
Love the tutorial, game mechanic and controls! Can't believe that it's made in 24 hours, since you've been thinking about the idea for a day. Great Job! This game makes me go YES! (Btw I accidently clicked on the second screen when I was trying to make a really big jump LOL)
Thanks for playing!
Maybe it might have been a good idea to limit the cursor to just the game window sou you couldn't accidentally click out of it. But I don't like it when games do that... I hope it didn't happen too often.
This game has very nice tutorials ! This is normally quite hard to explain how the game works but you did great !
Thanks! I took special care to explain everything and introduce new mechanics slowly and in an order that makes sense. So I'm glad to see that it worked out.
Thank you for playing!
Great use of pacing, the gimmick is introduced well, explored thoroughly, and the level design is well executed. A wonderful game.
Thank you for playing and for the nice feedback.
Yo Charlie!!
The usage of theme in this is pretty nice, and the enemies just amplify it. It provides a good challenge yet it isn't too difficult. The graphics are also pretty great, especially the torch lighting. I don't think I can implement those in GMS with my current skillset :P
I really had fun playing this game. Hope to see more from you!
Yo poomaan, nice to see you here.
I'm glad that the difficulty was good for you. And I'm also happy that many people like the graphics of my game, since thats what I actually was the least confident about. :D
Yeah, for the lights there is a neat feature in Godot for that.
Thank you for playing!
This was such a cool game! Good job.
Thanks :)
This. game. is. amazing. The lighting effects and pixel art are awesome! The mechanic has a lot of potential and this game used it really well. The level design is really good. This game is currently my favourite out of the GMTK Jam games I have played. I would love to see this as a bigger game!
Thank you. That means a lot to me, especially since I took special care in how I made the levels and in what order I placed them. :)
Such a cool game. The cursor statues where so good and original! Great 5/5
Oh wow, thank you so much.
Wow! Great work! I was so surprised when the input scheme changed. And it was really well done! You added so many layers to this game, I had a blast playing it.
It was sometimes a tad too hard (but that might just be me), the enemies seemed to steal the cursor just a bit too quickly.
I'm so glad that people like my game, thank you so much.
I hope it wasn't too frustrating for you.
Thank you very much. I'm glad to hear you think so. :)
I've never tried a game like this before. Very creative mechanics, enemies and utilisation of those. Some of the levels were a bit finicky to get through, but otherwise I loved it!
Thank you for playing.
Yeah I had trouble with balancing my jam games before, I hope it wasn't too frustrating. :D
Something went horribly wrong, and I had to restart my computer. Maybe a memory leak somewhere?
Oh no! I'm not sure what could have happened there. I don't do any freaky stuff with the engine, I don't think.
Can you tell me when exactly this happened? Was it right at the start? And are you on Windows or Linux?
I have windows. I played up to the third time you encounter the thwomp esque laser shooting thing. After I finished the game, instead of taking me to the next level, it frooze. And after a few moments, I tried alt+f4 to force close the program, but that didn't do anything. I used Ctr+Shift+Esc to open task manager, and the cursor froze. After some time, I hard turned off my laptop.
Has any enemy pulled your cursor before? Maybe trying to alter your mouse position caused the error...
I mean, I never had any problems with that and other people could play the game just fine so I'm not really sure what could be going on.
I'm sorry it gave you that much trouble. :(
Really interesting movement controls, and the blocks that pull your mouse towards them are cool. The levels are fun to play and the visuals are very nice
Thank you for playing and the positive feedback. :)
Completed the game, really fun levels with original and innovative game mechanics. Best of luck in the GMTK game jam!

Great entry, really nailed the theme! I was unsure how it tied to the theme, but then I got the arrow and I think its really cool that you give the player a feel for what "Control" means in context only to take it away from them. I liked the music too
Thanks a lot.
I originally started with the mouse control right from the beginning but then I thought it might be a cool idea to change the controls from normal to mouse when the player encounters a magical artefact. I'm glad to hear that this idea doesn't only sound good to me. :D
Originally implemented idea and some great level design!
Thank you for playing and the nice feedback :)
Really nice game! I was honestly left wanting to see where else these ideas could go
Thank you, I'm glad you see potential in this game :D
the game design is amazing, and i really loved it.
Thanks :)
Nice looking game and you really got me with controls switch (didn't read the description before playing)
Glad I was able to surpise somebody with that. :)
