fun puzzles and very easy to understand. i really enjoyed how smooth everything felt and how hard it was to deal with multiple obstacles in quick sucession. Very nice :D

Thanks for playing and commenting. We were worried the last level was a little too much going on but it seems like people can deal with it which is good to hear!

I MADE IT, I hosted the party.
This game is great. I liked how it added a new mechanic every level and how it uses everything in the last one, it made me think a lot on how to use my time right.
I just felt that maybe adding some visual feedback to what each button will do might help the decision process. Also, sometimes the monster would be stuck when the portal was off, so I had time to prepare the level before he started moving again.

And does he moves in different speeds? Some times I was like "hey come on, I'm holding a gigantic rock here, go faster". Not sure if this is a bad point though hahah

Developer

He does move at different speeds - its semi random to try and add to the feeling of not being in control at all but if it came across as frustrating then we may need to work on that a little!

The buttons / portal feedback is very valid. We were thinking of linking the buttons and portals with color (i.e. blue button turns on blue portal and exit is blue as well) the help with visual clarity, but a) one of our team is colorblind and we were aware that color may not be the best indicator but most importantly b) we ran out of time / energy / sleep... :-)

Thanks for playing and glad that you enjoyed it. This was our first ever Jam and I think we may have caught the bug...

Yeah, don't worry too much, it's a great game. About the character changing speed I think is okay, my reaction was exactly what you guys intended so great job again!

Very satisfying button pressing, and the levels are engaging; if not for the puzzle part, then for the race. Level designer deserves a free ice cream! The UI and mechanics were pretty clear in terms of seeing what our capabilities are, so it's good times.

Developer

Thanks, especially from the level designer! ;) It was interesting seeing what we could come up with using the handful of mechanics we have in, whilst keeping it both a challenge and possible.

This is a very solid game! A nice frantic feeling of scrambling about trying to stay ahead of the Shambler. Very fun level design!

Developer

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!
