How does your game fit the theme?
The town in the game is constantly overrun by earthquakes, with no possibility to predict where the next one will occur. We stuck with the idea of shooting around the houses because this way, the player is not able to have precise control over where the houses exactly go. The pacing of the game is quite fast, you need to react quickly, before the houses have already been turned into flying debris by the unpredictable quaking grounds.

I really like this! Original, and presentation is great. I just feel it was a bit difficult to play. 😅 Would've liked for the sensitivity to be lowered a bit; it was hard to gauge direction unless I pulled the houses so far back they would go flying so fast they broke. And I feel it was hard enough without the houses breaking by being pulled into the surrounding scenery haha. But lots of potench, as Mark would say! A post-jam version with some fine-tuning would be really cool. Art is just gorgeous. 😍 Great work!
thank you so much for playing our game! ya, we realized the sensitivity was tied to the framerate, so we didnt even notice this was off until some people told us about it :D and we're definetly thinking about updating the game at some point :D
Loved the game! I played it several times. There is a strategy that can be developed if you sacrifice some houses to create space for the others and also distribute them more. Very nice presentation, art and concept. Music, could be more ad-hoc. Good time length for a game, it is creative!
thank you so much for the comment and for investing so much time into our game! we really appreciate it :D
Originality of game is very great!
thank you so much for taking the time to play our game!
5/5 Stars, the game idea is very cool, presenation and overall polish is extremley good, the music is good but doesnt fit the game in my opinion. My only complain is the difficulty. When you have three houses by default on one block and this is the one fallling, i think you have a really hard time saving all of them. Gut gemacht!
Thank you so much for the rating and the feedback! We really appreciate you taking your time to play the game. And you are absolutely correct about the difficulty, we really should have started with more space or less houses, but maybe we'll fix that after the jam :D
Recognize your game from Marks stream. Just played it myself and love the unique concept. The art is also wonderful! Dragging the houses is a bit hard to master, but overall great work!
Thanks so much for playing our game! We're really happy that our game was featured on the stream, we couldn't believe our eyes, haha. And you are absolutely right, the houses are way too hard to move and break too easily. It's amazing getting so much feedback from everyone, thank you so much!
Really nice game! Great idea, nice graphics and setting. I couldn't save a lot of houses :(
But I think it has potential maybe like a mobile app with more levels, you could start with a few houses and make the town grow as you unlock new levels
Good work, keep doing games!
thank you so much for taking the time to comment and play our game! that's a really nice idea for what we could do with that conceopt, too so thank you so much :D
Excellent game! Very difficult. I could see spending hours at this if the difficulty more slowly ramped up and the controls were a little more predictable (I was never sure how far a house would go).
Maybe short little mobile style levels were the timer counts down and you must have a certain number of houses left at the end to pass.
Great art and presentation. It was fun to play,
thank you so much for the comment! yeah, the game gets wayy to hard too fast, but that's still so nice to hear!
This game looks very good ! I'm so bad at that game haha :) GG !
Thank you so much! We are not really that great at it either, haha. Thank you so much for playing!
loved the controls of the game and how it looks
good job :D
thank you so much!!!
Wow! The presentation and art are done really well here. I love the concept and feel that the simple controls really compliment this idea. Using these controls really made me feel more out of control as well. Nice work!! :)
thank you so much for the comment!
QUALITY!!! Loved the art, effects and sfx. I am very bad at saving houses though!
thank you so much!! this is so nice to hear! and don't worry, the game is very hard to play, so it's not you, it's the game :D
Didnt expect this gameplay mechanics. The art is also cool. Sadly cant even survive 2 minutes a single time, maybe there is some catch I didnt get, I was just guessing and throing them randomly
thank you for the comment! the game turned out to be pretty hard, which wasn't really intended. there is *some* strategy aspect in the sense, that you would try to have as few houses in each area as possible so its easier to relocate them, but that's about it. so there isn't that much of a secret catch there :D
Very nice game! Everything looks pretty and clean, I really like it!
For the gameplay, there's the unfortunate difficulty curve: the further you are into the game, the less houses you have and the eazier the game is. It's hard not to loose a lot of houses in the beginning, so most of the game I'm playing with just a few left. The game is still fun but if you found a way to flip the curve, it would probably be more enjoyable - especially in the early seconds.
Well done on the game! I also think I got pretty good at it :D.
oh my god, we knew that this is PROBABLY possible, but i am DELIGHTED that someone actually got it done :D thank you so much for the feedback, it really means a lot to us!
Wow that was really hard. What is your high score? I can only last for a little over a minute. Nice presentation and gameplay! I never thought of launching houses like angry birds. It was really fun! If you can, could you check out my game? I love feedback.
Thank you for the feedback! I definetly will do that :D our record is 2:20 minutes (and that was because of a lot of luck), so the game probably could have been a little easier.
I really like the idea and the presentation! I think if I played it for longer, I would get better at it. It's a really unique idea, and it's a great little arcade game.
thank you so much for the comment, we really appreciate it!
Loved the art style and sound design. Very creative! The houses were very hard to manage. I think not having the houses get pulled backwards in order to launch them might ease the difficulty nicely. Lots of times I was just pulling a house back into another house and it would just explode. Overall I really loved it!
thank you so much for the feedback! thats very nice to hear :D
Really cool styles and concept! Game looked clean, at times I felt like the houses crashed to easily. Good stuff!
thank you for the feedback :D yeah the houses definetely were too fragile we should have put more time into that ^^
I really like the artstyle, it's very clean. Nice little experience you made there, well done !
thank you so much :D
Nice work! Throwing houses to safety to avoid earthquakes is very original. Would be nice if the houses a bit tougher, but it's a really fun idea for a game and I enjoyed it.
thank you so much for the feedback! we're glad you enjoyed it :D
Nice game but go easy on the post processing, my laptop can't handle it lol
thank you for the feedback!! we really should have made button to turn that off, thank you for the hint^^
