Absolutely love it. I tried timing the first jetpack jump by trial and error, but then I discovered that the robot goes down before jumping, which is a wonderful way of adding anticipation and therefore control to the character. Sound was good, levels were fun and challenging, having an end and start screen is great. Overall really well made game.

Wow this was super well made! it's really cool idea that i can't control the jump.! nice sound and graphics too. You should keep working on it! Congrats on successfully submitting a game to the jam and I hope you learned a lot of new things. Please check out my game when you have time :D
Nice concept and very chill music and feeling to the game. The spikes are a bit harsh sometimes, but overall great work!
I love how you used the character animation to tell the player that a random jump was gonna happen, rather than using a meter that runs out like other games with this mechanic. Great game :D
Very polished game! Core mechanic works nicely, and I loved the music.
Would add some checkpoints on some of the levels. Got frustrated on some of the later levels where I could do the first half easy but couldn't figure out the last jump, but had to keep going through the first half to get another attempt at it.
Hello! Thank you JustWinginIt!! Specially for the music compliment one xD We intended to make a bigger game, but due to the time limit we had to difficult a little bit those existing levels reducing those checkpoints between 'em. Anyway, glad you had a great time playing and also thank you for suggestions, we certainly will improve using your advices for our next game!! Cya.
Made it to the end with 16 deaths. I had a fun time the whole way through. I like that the death counter went up, instead of having a traditional lives/game over set up. I thought it was a great length for what it was. I particularly enjoyed how you introduced to players the knowledge that they could jump in mid air, simply by introducing a level that implied it could happen. I really appreciate when design is conveyed with no words, just gameplay :)
Also last note... that button sound effect is delicious!
The idea is nice, but you've designed the levels in such a way that there is no margin for error. Like the part pictured below. Though, a lot of the screens before it were very difficult to pull off as well. The art and the font looked quite nice though. Could you tell me what the font is called?
Thanks for playing and giving a feedback!
We noticed some people were stuck in this last level, we might have made the difficulty a little too high... Playing the game every few seconds while developing it made us not notice things like that. Thanks for sharing.
We used two fonts, earthorbiter and conthrax.
From the start, this game has a great storytelling foundation. Overall the presentation is pretty good, and the gameplay is nice and works perfectly with the world created. I died too many times but in the end, it's a good challenge. Nice work!
Wonderful idea and executed pretty well too! I wish it was a little easier to see when the spring was fully compressed. The triangle cutout and wheel don't really make for an intuitive feel for where the jump initiates. Also some of the platforming was a bit unforgiving and hard to see where the collision was.
Very interesting concept that forms the key mechanic, thought the music worked well with the little story too! The subtle use of a visual indicator for the jump timing was a very handy addition. Art and music was great for such a time-limited project, especially liked the background. Had good fun finishing the game; died over 30 times, mostly on those devilish jumps near the end!
The idea that jumping is out of control is really interesting. Your original music and artworks are great! I wonder whether it will be easier if the jump frequency matches with the rhythm of the music, because I found it is hard to predict precisely when the robot would jump.
The platforming was fun and challenging. Music and art style was nice. Overall really good game!
