How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you have to get to the earth with a rocket. At the start of the level you can't control the rocket (so it's "out of control"), you control a light. With this light you have to find gasoline and bring it to the rocket so you can control it and get to the earth.

Interesting idea, but I'm not good at it. It could use some indication that there is something you're trying to avoid during the initial light/mouse part of the level (also I tend to instinctively move my mouse cursor a bit more quickly than this game wants me to), and some indication of where the edge of the world is during the rocket sections. Also the music seems a bit repetitive.
It's interesting how removing the visibility of the entire game region makes the game really difficult to play!!!
Good and simple fun. It was a bit claustrophobic experience though. :'D
Good job!
I'm running windows 10 and Chrome, and each time I loaded a level I just instant died? I couldn't see anything except for the small light, but it was less then a second after clicking the level, I heard the crash effect and asked me to restart. I really liked the vibe and the audio. Any ideas to get it to work for me?
EDIT: Nevermind, I tried level 1 again and saw a glimpse of the rocket, before I died. I realized I instinctively move the mouse after clicking a level and I was crashing into walls each time without ever seeing the rocket :(. Once I figured THAT out, the game vibe is super chill and I really like the music. Haha I would maybe suggest instead of having the light where the cursor is, maybe have the light move towards the cursor, so you can populate it at the correct spot, but then see it crash into walls. Right now if you move your mouse quickly, the level just end. Still cool game once I figured that out!
The buttons of the levels and the restart buttons are located so you don't instantly die, but I should probably have warned the player to go slowly in the description of the game at least (because that also happened to me while play-testing).
But I'm glad you figured out how to play and you found the game interesting. Thanks!
I couldn't complete every single level cause I had to go back to work, but i really liked what i've played and i think it's a really nice game! Congrats for this!!
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the game.
Nice, I noticed that you put the start of the level at where the restart button is, nice touch.
However the game is a bit too hard for me, had no idea what to look for in the first few minutes. Maybe adding a glowing spot to hint the end of the maze would work. For people who have their hands like their toes, me as an example, I think the light radius can be increased for better view.
Unfortunately I didn't have time to complete all the levels as I found them quite challenging! Overall the game was playable and I didn't encounter any bugs. Audio was pretty loud as some other commenters have mentioned, and the music loop was a little short.
It was a little frustrating only being able to see just a little past the rocket when the rocket takes forever to turn, but it did help that the paths were the same for the fuel and rocket. Maybe I'm just impatient though.
Thanks for playing and leaving a comment.
The game is meant to be played slowly, because if you go too fast you'll end up hitting yourself. That's the reason why the music and the sounds are relaxing and the rocket rotates slowly (because you need to be precise). But I think the game is, in general, a little bit hard.
I could have added an "easy mode", in which there is more space between walls.
Pretty cool! Sadly the audio was *way* too loud on my end, and I couldn't find an audio slider.
It was pretty neat having to go through the same level twice, once with the cursor, once with the rocket, trying to identify a path to fly through as well as find fuel for your rocket.
I was thinking about the volume of the audio while making the game because my headphones don't work properly and I couldn't know if the volume was too loud.
I'm glad that you found the game cool!! I've played your game and I've liked as well.
I love the sounds and style of this! So cute and nostalgic.
