Wow that was incredible, it felt like a full game

Developer

Thanks for playing!

Hey-- very well executed idea.  Things can get out of control very fast, haha.

However, I think this could actually be a very satisfying and relaxing game if you removed some of the urgency.(the kind of thing someone plays on their tablet to chill out before they go to sleep at night).

Nicely done.

Developer

I toyed with the idea of adding a "chill" mode but ultimately didn't have time for it. Maybe I'll go back and flush it out later and add stuff like that. Thanks for playing!

Nice game i really enjoyed it. I also rated it. Also if you could play and rate my game that would mean a lot :)

That was fun to play and very well done. You really nailed the tutorial... I'd never have figured it out otherwise. The twist was a very good take on the theme.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

nice game good job i finde it very relaxing

Cool game, very relaxing and looks very nice too.

Found it kinda hard to grab some of the pieces, and didnt understand the queue system for the game, but apart from them very cool!

Developer(+1)

There isn't really a queue "system", per say, it just randomly spawns pieces. I wasn't really sure what else to call it but queue probably wasn't the best choice. I did want to come up with a way to make the pieces easier to grab but ran out of time. Thanks for playing!

Oh right I see what you mean, I probably just got confused them. And that's the nature of these kind of jams not being able to add those little things you want :)

Submitted(+1)

It's fun and relaxing. The art is very good, as well as the music.

Developer

Thank you! My sister spent a long time on the music. The art was all creative commons 0 or 4.0, credits for the artists are... in the credits, if you want to check them out!

Incredibly good aesthetic choice, good music, great polish, original spin on these mechanics. I don't know how you guys made a soothing puzzle game frantic as hell, but you pulled it off with flying colors.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I wanted to give the old Origamo game a faster-paced spin with some new mechanics to make up for the limited level selection. Not sure if you've played the original DOS game, but it is very slow.

Well done, the tutorial is really outstanding, it explains the game nicely. The concept is also original.

Developer

Thank you, I spent a solid 5-7 hours alone on the tutorial! I was worried it was too wordy but didn't end up having enough time to work on it more.

Interesting game, I didn't understand the puzzle selection screen, didn't know you had to click the pillar and not the puzzle itself. Overall it's good to kill some time. Good job!

Developer(+1)

Thanks! I was a little torn on whether to have the user click the pedestals instead of the puzzles, but I figured sometimes the puzzles can overlap so it'd be a safe bet to make the pedestals the clickable object. I may go back in the future and change it.

It’s fine either way, just make sure it stands out a little more, or to point it out somewhere so it’s more obvious for a new player. Keep up the good work!

Really cool game! The art and music is very pleasing.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! I'm unfortunately not skilled enough to make the pixel art backgrounds (check credits for itch.io users and links) but the music was made by my sister during the game jam.

This game had to be launched from the command line. In cause any one else is having trouble.

Developer

From the command line, on Windows? Would you mind elaborating? I've tested it on four separate machines and none of them had that issue so I'm curious as to if there are permissions issues or something.

Submitted

After trying a few games it seems a problem on my end. Take care,

Cannot download

Developer (1 edit)

Are you still having issues downloading? What was the problem that you had exactly?

Submitted

Yes, now I've played the game and I've posted a comment.

I use Google Chrome and when clicking the download button the .exe showed down on the browser (everything normal). But instead of having the 2 buttons ("Download" and "Refuse") I only had the second one. I solved the problem by going to the "Downloads" section of the browser, and there was the "Download" button).
