Love the dialogue. Fits the theme well, some things are just out of our control. If I had to nit-pick, the text sound effect is a tad jarring and I would love to be able to skip the text animation. I tend to read faster than the animation and have to wait for it to catch up.

This is a lot of content for a 24h game. I would have loved more decisions with more consequences, but I guess there was not enought time for that.
"Existential Crisis Simulator 2020". Great narrative. Played and read like a visual novel.
Pretty good, but I wish it was a little more non-linear and game-y. The dialogue and story are interesting, but I feel like it didn't really take advantage of itself being a game. The different options in the dialogue were nice, but I just wish there was a little more. Sound and graphics were solid. Nice work!
I absolutely love this interpretation of the theme, that no matter what you do it's not going to change the ending, but that doesn't make any of the choices along the way any less meaningful. Really beautiful game!
Big fan of emotional narratives, but I feel this one would have been better explored through the child's perspective, perhaps without much dialogue at all (as you state below, it's based on a real experience). I suppose you were going for a more visual novel approach. Still, impressed with the amount of words you managed to squeeze in. Keep it up!
Wow, that made me emotional. I like how you approached this game jam in a unique way.
I like this sort of story telling games, but it seems a bit too stretched, but that is the idea I guess
Excellent way to portray the theme. It's hard to say that this game was "fun," but it sure is engaging. A great and impactful game. Well done.
This was a really powerful experience to play. For a genre that doesn't usually show up in game jams, for it to be so well executed here was really beautiful.
Love how the story relate with the theme. Congrats, really happy to see a narrative oriented submission.
Good job, could use a bit more polish but not bad for 48 hours
A great example of how narrative and writing can make even the smallest game great and true to a theme. Well done! Even the walk from hospital room to waiting room added a sense of anticipation and suspense. You could have made it a simple scene change but it really brought in the immersion by doing that.
