How does your game fit the theme?
You and the mouse are joined together and must work as one, to destroy the alternate evil version of yourself. I guess you could say all 3 of you are Joined together really. Mechanically you join items to the player to move and shield him during combat.

Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?

Yes

Well done! Nice idea and it looks good. But it feels a bit unresponsive at times, and I think I bugged things out by stacking items.

It's a very nice concept

My two only complains are:

  • the "controls" are appearing a bit too slowly, you often find yourself unable to move
  • the theme is a bit too loose, as you can say that the controls/NPCs and the player are joined together for any existing game ever made. I don't know how to make it closer to the theme, but I feel it's not that far from it, maybe an additionnal mechanic could have done it?

Other than that, I appreciated it a lot, it's like a tower defense except you're the tower AND the thing to defend. Good job!

Great game, great idea, great art, but little buggy. That's it)

It was cool, it was buggy, it needs to be it's own thing, but I think the theme was a bit loose here

OMG this game NEEDS more levels please!! really original and interesting game mechanism! Really cool presentation too. This game screams to be developed!

I really like it! (Especially the lore :D) Also I think it's fun to control a turret magician!

Nice idea! Great visual effects and the mechanics are interesting. I'd love to play more levels!

Small bit of feedback: It was difficult to know when I should use the < buttons once I understood my goal was on the right side of the screen, and sometimes I couldn't tell if I had something picked up or not (I was clicking instead of dragging)

Pretty fun game, like the concept and presentation a good deal, though it seems left-movement tiles simply don't work? And it might've been luck but once I got down to the bottom right of the screen I was more or less completely safe from enemies. Definitely a lot you could do with this concept though with different tile types, perhaps some which affect enemies instead of the player? All in all nice work!

Super cute. The tiles showing up is a bit random so you have to wait sometimes. Great work!

This is a great-looking game, I love the pixel art and the animations. The concept is also quite interesting, despite in my opinion lacking a little relevance to the theme. Nevertheless, the game mechanic is quite enjoyable and has the potential to be something better if given more polish. For example, I found the left arrows to be of little use, so I thought that it might be interesting if you could also redirect enemies and enemy projectiles. Overall, I finished and enjoyed the game, good job!

I really like how you made a small polished game here.  I think the introduction of other tiles, maybe having special abilities or being able to store tiles would help improve the game from a concept to a sellable piece. Maybe introducing a dynamic environment that means that you can't just stay in one place may be valuable.

The art style is great!

I will definitely keep following you as the potential in this game is great and enjoyed the level that you provided.

I can't see this having a ton of replay value, but it's got a great amount of arcade-style juice to fuel one play session.

Really cool entry! once I figured it out it was quite fun, it isn't the most complicated thing so it was a quick game to learn. My biggest thought was that the game felt RNG heavy, I spent alot of the time hoping for either a move forward or shield. A minor thing, as the rest of the game was really fun and juicy!

Looks like I really nice Game, but it is really confusing. Maybe a tutorial in the discription could help. I really like the idea and the looks

Really neat concept! There was a bug that made the left controller not work. Felt it was difficult to control, and got overwhelmed quickly.

hard to control ?

Oh yeah

It didn't particularly effect my enjoyment of the game, but the arrow letting you move to the left did not work so i was never able to retreat, that said it was still a lot of fun and i was still able to win despite this.
