Controls feel tricky but fair, the particle magic works well and it's fun building my plastic tree! The acid rain drops and wind are nice touches and add some unforeseen challenges to the game.
Beautiful presentation and color palette!
For me it made more sense to make the acid drops collide with the ship, as the penalty was not so bad compared to the huge acid splash that often destroyed a lot of my tree.
I like a lot the fact that at the end I can see the whole structure that I produced!
Nice entry, also refreshing after a lot of puzzle platformers with linked characters ;)
Super original game! I didn't see any other game in the Jam that use a similar game play!
It really reproduce this arcade feeling, well done! The game is super hard but fun to play 😁
Fun and orignal game. I love the art style, color pallette and overall idea of the game. There is some fantasic particle system wizardry going on. I didn't really understand what you have to do as the concept of building the tree is not presented to the player in game, I had to read the description. The game could have also really benefitted from some audio. Music and SFX can add lots of personality to a game.
Well done! I could see it being a fun little mobile game. Cool art style. Controls reminded me of that old lunar lander game.
super cool concept and really cool presentation. the controls are a bit tough to get used to, but once i got the handle on it, it was super fun to mess around with. id totally get this if it came to mobile, and with a little touched up movement, i could honestly see this serving a super cool place in the mobile game scene. awesome work!
Really cool mechanic! It was a bit of a struggle to control the ship, but that's definitely part of the appeal! Definitely something I could see myself playing to kill time. I was a bit unsure of what the top boundary added to the game, but it certainly didn't detract from it either.
Really solid game, good job!
Difficult to get the hang of but once you do its a treat to play well done.
Lots of fun, and really hard too! The challenge kept me playing to try and best my high score
Cool little game. Looks like it was designed for mobile which I could see being fun. What I'd love to see would be a way to see your tree when you're done with the level because some parts looked really cool :)
it took me a few tries until i realized that i had to hold W to stop myself from plummeting into the abyss, but after that it was a neat game. I would love it if you could see your entire tree after a run, sort of like a recap :)
