Nice concept! The hogs were a pain, kept running of the screen if I didn't get them fast enough, and I had to slowly yank them towards other animals. The squirrels' mechanic was pretty interesting though, providing an extra challenge.

Developer(+1)

thx, really love the squirrel too, sadly they only appear in some levels as not all got in the final version, and lets not talk about the hog :v

Cool idea! Maybe instead of having them randomly disconnect you could have one of them break free every 10 seconds or something, its pretty hard to get all the rabbits when they keep disconnecting at random. There is something about commanding an army of rabbits that is quite satisfying :)

Developer

thats a nice ideia, didnt think about this, thx for the feedback :)

The central idea is solid, but I think it would work better if there was a circle which shows the area in which you can still click to form a rope. (And perhaps a few rounds of testing, I didn’t get the feeling all of my clicks registered.) Also, introduce the other animals a bit earlier. Once you can capture one and about four rabbits, the mechanic has been introduced, and you can show some (promised) variance. (I had to give up in the 3rd level after a bunch of tries…)

While it wasn’t been a problem in practice, I don’t think it was a good idea to put the restart button on the field itself, where an animal might be, either.

This is so close to being fun, but just a bit too janky to nail the landing.

Developer(+1)

The restart button get anchored in the wrong place on canvas, I was sad when the elephant got covered too :/

I thought about the circle but I couldnt put on game.

Love the game design feedback thx.

Not sure how the rope is supposed to work. It seems like winning at this game is mostly just luck, rather than skill. It's an interesting idea, though, and if the rope mechanic was implemented in a different way, this could be really fun!

Developer

thx for playing, probably need some ajustments as a lot of people feel more like luck base instead of skill, probably with some better controls over the rope and some interactions we could make  a better polish game, thx again :)

Hi, I like your idea, and your graphics are very cute! You have a cool central mechanic here with the animals pulling you  in different directions and trying to juggle it all, but it was a bit tough understanding how my actions led to success and as a result it sometimes felt a bit down to luck. You have the great basis of a game here though, and it's a well put together package, congrats on submitting!

Developer

got it, is really jank sometimes :v. But thanks for playing and giving feedback

It's an interesting idea although I have little way of telling how to use the rope to pull. I think there needs to be an added mechanic or intuitive way to pull the animals. Good job!

Developer

thx for the feedback, its dificult to tell really, especially the hog, as he has some states of angry and running that the sprite dont show, we didnt get time to make sprite animations in the end so it get a little wacky

Not sure why the elephant levels aren't first - they're far easier than the rabbit ones.

Also I'm still not entirely sure how the rope physics work - it seems like the best strategy at the start is to just allow yourself to be pulled around by the rabbits, as moving usually lets one escape...

Developer

thx for playing and giving feedback :). I saw that after some friends played, probably should make the player pull more or get more grip as moving is complicated. The elephant one it happens to be the second animal developed and should do other thing(he should eat to get heavy and sleep so he cant move), we cut the eat part and now he just stay there, but you are right, we should get the stages out of order really.
