Nice idea, well designed levels, interesting game mechanic, good job!
I think you are onto a really good mechanic here. The puzzles you came up with were really good and interesting.
I like the art style too, it's clean and makes it easy to read the game!
One thing I would change was the BLATANT LIE you told about spikes being friendly >:(!
Just kidding :) I would change the horizontal movement friction a bit. It feels a bit too ice-level like. Not a big issue though.
Congrats on making an awesome little game!
Interesting game with great idea for puzzles. Though i don't think spikes are friendly ;)
I love the concept and the gameplay! Great work
P.S. Thanks for making a Linux version!
Cool mechanic and level design. There is a lot of content which is pretty nice for a jam game.
Really challenging and nice level design, with fun and clever mechanics too!
Cool idea for a mechanic. I only have one gripe. Controls feel really sluggish at times, specially how harsh some hitboxes are.
Was good fun - had to find out to use the space bar to swap magnet polarisation but was good fun once got the hang of it.
Super cool idea. I like the level design and the game is well polished overall, just the hitboxes could be a bit more forgiving.
Good concept, but more could have been done with it. I would have liked to see different level layouts, rather than just having a magnet at the top every level. I also didn't like how the magnets disconnect. Movement was a bit slippery.
It was fun to play. I liked the idea of the magnets and liked how the physic's worked. The boucing was a bit difficult and I liked that you wrote a comment for every level. Great work :D
A fun little game, very simple but very effective.
The game has some problems though, the physics being very slippery isn't a problem until you get to levels where you need to be a little bit more precise with your movement. The conveyor belts are also glitched i think, every time the bottom magnet touched a conveyor belt I couldn't interact with it at all wich was a little frustrating.
Otherwise the concept is simple but well put together, nice work :)
the conveyer belts are like that by design and so is the physics
i made it to be hard, glad you enjoyed it
I enjoyed this. It has potential to be expanded so that the top magnet has obstacles as well. Maybe it does in the later levels but I couldn't get through all of them!
This is fun! As said below, I love the polish and SFX detail.
Spikes are friendly! hahhaha. has potential for speed run if you release this with multiplayer and timer.
This is a fun game, tho if you take out the other magnet and just had you reverse gravity the game would play the same. That being said, I couldn't get past the spikey upgrades level, so you might do something with the upper magnet too afterwards.
Tough game too, but it's good in my eyes.
I think the acceleration is a bit slow for the movement, but other than that plays smoothly.
Well done!
I liked the game, but I definitely think it's important to get your main gameplay solid before anything else. There's a very tiny window to the left or right of the bottom magnet that you have to be within, flipping the polarity of the top magnet either completely kills the velocity or reverses it with 100% efficiency, and overall lack of predictability. I think there are two good vectors for mechanics: that which favors realisticness and that which favors the user's experience. However you've managed to engineer the controls in such a way where it falls short of both categories.
Super fun and original game! There's one level with a bunch of saw blades is a bit to hard because the blades keeps blocking the ray so the other magnet couldn't go up.
Anyways a fun and well polished game!
Great game! I liked the subtle details like the magnets cracking when you lose and the click sound when the magnets finally meet. It was really nice seeing the flying parts where it took a good amount of skill and timing to make your way between the spikes. Overall really good game and great learning curve!
thanks, i enjoyed making those small little things. i had to make sure i didnt go overboard with it either haha
I enjoyed the presentation of this game! The levels are getting tougher and challenging! Very good game and the art is awesome. Will you be adding more levels in future?
I was making levels as fast as i could and id love to make more, there was some stuff i wanted to add but i just didnt have time
Yeah! Time was limited but you did a great job and have already implemented a lot of things ! waiting for the game update!
