Neat game! Definitely good use of the theme. I did feel the movement was a little clunky. I feel if you're going to use grid movement it'd be nice to have smaller rooms because you need to click a lot. The hold and move was a bit unpredictable. I'd either remove it or show where you'll end up.
This one was fun! A well thought out puzzle mechanic that could be easily polished into an excellent game!
Incredible idea for a mechanic and it fits the theme very well! I'm impressed with how well you explored the depth of the central mechanic. I would love to see a version of this that's been polished up and with a couple additional mechanics to play with.
The controls are awkward and you can't hold down the movement key without it going zoom. I loved the art and puzzle idea tho very well done!
Slightly awkward controls (don't know how may times I reset when I meant to rotate!), but a really unique take on a puzzle game. Nice one.
Certainly a unique idea. Makes for a fun shape matching puzzle.
Cool idea, but needs some work. Would be cool to be able to drop the grabbed pieces to get other ones, for example.
I did consider that, but ultimately wanted to see the consequences of keeping that limitation in place. I didn't get to fully explore that, but maybe I'll come back to it.
Thank you for the feedback!
I absolutely loved this, it was a really creative use of the theme and the level design was smart.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
Really neat idea.
Overrall, the game felt a bit slow (maybe because I was playing in the browser). The lack of music and sfx was really sad (but understandable for a jam game).
The art, while simple, is well made and the levels are interesting. It's a shame theres only one level where you have to "shatter" the pieces, but it's probable because of the time constraint.
Other than that, I think the game would benefit from a "undo" button.
Good job!
Thank you! Sorry about the performance issues, I was coding this extremely recklessly.
There's definitely further interesting stuff I could do with the level design. I was a bit worried that the puzzles could quickly get extremely difficult for a jam game if I wasn't careful, especially with a lack of an undo button and the shoddy framerate.
One of these days I'll make a game with sound :)
