I loved playing this. It just feels right.

Really liked the mechanics on this. Really creative fun.

I will add my two cents to what I feel can improve the game. The spawn area was my immediate bane. Camera does not make it obvious where to go and it's full of invisible walls. Otherwise, when figured out, I had a fun time escaping the classroom.

The game is actually more complex than folks give credit for.
zoom out and slow downs, with a mix of swapping characters, all leads into strategy that can save or doom the player.

The aesthetics was on point. Gameplay is fun and challenging. Limitations and theme are used well.

Ah hard but I managed to figure it out in the end.
Great use of limitations. And nice art work!

The entire game is done with doodles in mind(low effort drawing).
So I tried to make the cut-scenes that way too lol

There was some bugginess going on with the movement that's for sure.
The character does small teleports every time she wants to raises up. It looks nice but caused a few problems.

I'm surprised you got back to it so fast! Glad you beat the game in the end.
I'm happy it made you smile in the end. Crazy thinking my game deving could have that effect on anyone >_<

It was hard finding a balance on difficulty. There's only one level actually.
So you only missed the last cutscene. And if you liked the intro, you might like that too haha.

Really well thought out bullet hell. Was really addictive. Only survived to round 8 so far.

Definitely got a spook out of me at least once.
I had an issue with the mouse not locking into the game properly which made aiming and looking around hard. Maybe enable full screen mode option on itch.io could help?

Apart from the last level, I would say it was quite enjoyable.

Really nice fun experience. Calming music, cute environment. Great mechanics that fit the tone of the game. Love the use of the limitation.

5/5 only problem is that I suck at the game.

That's true. I would have loved to do work with the shadows and lighting schemes.
I will try for next time!

The game does have a cutscene ending for folks who score enough points.
But yeah I do feel it wasn't quite interesting enough for the "death isn't the end" limitation.

Closest I've ever gotten to shooting a geometrical angel like in EVA.
5/5 would snipe again.

Went in with little know how, was shocked to find the Kaiju revived after destroying its final form.
Pretty fun. Liked the individual weapons you can pick up

Okay so we all know the platforming is impossible, but I think the visuals and the plot has charm to it. The boss fight at the end made up for the problems at the start. The text boxes were somewhat out of frame, but we all suffer from it time to time.

Very cool use of limitations for this. I only wish there was more to winning than seeing just the shadow of a cool dragon flying off. Tho that is just a small nitpick to this fun game.

The gravity is a bit floaty, but I understand why it was used. The fight with the Grim reaper is pretty slow.
You have to dodge the same attack as you shoot him 40 something times.
It has potential tho.

By the end I'm just like "Jeepers Creepers. What the heck is this thing?"
overall great experience and the monster design is surperb.

Folks, you can play the game if you switch it to fullscreen in the webgl. 

The game has a neat idea and the start of what could be a fun story of octokings, but ultimately it needed more stuff for the player to do and think about.
Add a bit more challenge.

Game could have proven pretty tough to complete for a good ending.
Thankfully, you resisted the temptation of hardcore platforming puzzles.
I enjoyed the game, the mechanics and rewards for playing skillfully.
Clearly cares for the player  <3

Really fun and challenging. Even when you fail In-game it is enjoyable.

Only wish i had friends. Was fun despite that. Can imagine it being great crack with a friend.

Can be a little too hard to control with default movespeed but its fun like that sometimes.
Love the limitation, wish I had the patiences to finish the 2nd level without dying.

Building score will eventually unlock the ending to the game.
Originally the game was going to consistently spawn buildings and enemy turrets you could destroy all over the map.

I have a soft spot for the look of the game. I like how the boss fight is implemented, the sound in the game is fitting and the enemy design is cool.
Cons:
Slippy jumps and it feels wrong that I can't go a bit more directionally right.
For me, I couldn't lose life in the fight.
