I like the color scheme and the overall game idea. Well done. :)

Unique and difficult!

Submitted(+1)

It's a great idea it's just that the enemies take too long to kill

Submitted(+1)

good game but they take so long to kill and my ammo is small

Submitted(+1)

So hard. Unique take on the theme but so hard.

I really enjoyed the idea and think you could expand on it. It has promise regarding picking our your targets strategically and you could do a lot with differrent kinds of ammo per enemy and so on. Presentation was slick, too. Good entry!

Also I don't agree with it being too hard. When trying out som edifferent strategies, all levels can be dealt with and if it were easier, you wouldn't need strategy at all.

It is quite difficult at 3rd level but it's really fun. It is good to find a game in which you want to play again once you have dead

Dang , this is hard , pretty fun tho I felt as the level getting harder the player seem a lot weaker tho

Oh boy, this game gets tough. The enemies feel sort of bullet-spongy and they lack menace when they power up using corpses.

I love the spritework and the animations. Even the idle animations are charming.

Well done!

Love it, great work!!!

Great art style and music. The first few levels were great and then it just got too hard for me.

Developer

I'm glad you like the music!

I like the simple aesthetics of this game, which complements well with the easy-going music. Well, as for the gameplay, it is definitely too hard, most times I have to keep spamming my bullets to kill enemies, and there's nothing I could do aside from that to slow them down, or maybe I could run faster while wasting some stamina to have time to recover the corpses.

If you want to continue development further down on this game, consider this:

- Maybe you can add different types of weapons with different types of behaviours on shooting and on their bullets! Maybe a shotgun with heavy knockback can keep hordes of zombies away, but has short range for ones that are a bit far and separated;

- Setting traps and having the zombies fall could also be a great idea for this type of game! Smarter zombies could avoid the most basic ones, that would also be an interesting quirk;

- Try to empower the player and make all of his actions satisfying (look up Game Feel), perhaps you could add bigger and faster bullets with heavy bass sounds, maybe you could even think of adding grenades with delicious explosions!

This has a lot of potential, and I understand that since a 48hour development is too demanding and balancing can be overlooked (trust me, this has happened to me on most cases), but great job still!

Hey Ben. Some feedback:

This game is too hard, however it'd be easier and cooler if the enemies prioritized you a bit more over bodies. Furthermore, they should really need fewer bullets to die. Additionally, I wish there'd be more knockback for the enemies.

Having some feedback on knowing the enemies' health bar would be great as well.

The fact that the greener pillar does nothing makes literally no sense.

Sometimes the big enemies would get stuck:

Overall a fun game with okay level design, but a game that does not fit the theme very well IMO. Win Screen:

It's a lot of fun, but I kept restarting because the R key is too close to E. But that's probably just because I'm a goof.

Nice game.

1, The game's interpretation of the theme is pretty bad, because if only the enemies can join together, then It is optional and not fun.

2, I think different bodies bullet count should very and not just be 15. That way, there is more strategy.

IE slimes have 5 bullets, regular enemies have 15 bullets and Big Enemies have 25 or something.

Besides these, nice game.

I would be very happy if you would play my game.

Developer

Thank you!
1) If we had a bit more time we would have loved to give the player an option to combine with enemies, but with 48 hours you could only do so much :(
2) Great suggestion! Wish I would have implemented that before time ran out :((

Thanks for the feedback <3

Thanks for telling me that.

i like it!

Very well polished little experience! Really liked how enemies could combine, It fits the theme well and looks great too! Could use a way to reset when i run out of bullets! Other than that, really good!

Developer

Thanks! You actually can reset by pressing "R"

shooting while looting corpses seemed to work well, game also looks great

Developer

I had someone play test and realized that was a viable strategy... part of me which i disabled that feature to make it EVEN harder lol

Nice job! I liked the use of your signature green colour pallete and the slimekeep gun code!
