This is a fun game and I dug the simple art style with the limited color palette. I wish I could pick up a corpse and shoot at the same time, and that I could gauge the enemy health, but for a quick jam game, this was a blast to play for a short experience. A little unforgiving (1 hit death!). Overall, great work and awesome devlog video on YouTube. Best of luck with Slimekeep! I just wishlisted it on Steam.

The game was really hard! The overall polish is really good for a game jam game, but I feel like some of the balancing could be better. It was very frustrating to shoot enemies repeatedly and they still can absorb the corpse. And when the other enemies bodyblocked my bullets! And also it sucked being SOL when I ran outta bullets. Overall though, nice polish and fun overall.
I like the art style and general look of the game.
However, I would recommend shorting the time to kill, as it can be a bit of a drudge to shoot one enemy some many times.
Nice Work!
Liked the collection mechanics. Some Tweaking needed to make the whole thing feel a bit more playable and cohesive. Overall great job.
BTW, Would love for you to try my game too.
It is an Action Platformer with unique controls.

Really polished feel with the art, and a fun main game mechanic as well. Hard to beat, but definitely rewarding when you do.
Good original concept, the game just struggled a bit in terms of execution and presentation. I understand that you ran out of time playtesting, but the level difficulty curve definitely needs some work (I strangely found the game getting easier as I progressed), and maybe adding some juicier effects e.g screenshake would make gameplay more fun for the player. Good job nonetheless :D
(and yes, the ai perhaps is a bit too smart. I've seen some of your videos (BenBonk) explaining how you made the ai smarter, but maybe it should be toned down a little for the sake of the difficulty? Just some thoughts :D)
there is somethings that dont work well in this game the level design and the enemy health
some of the levels are harder then the others.maybe that would be fixed if it was a infinity 1 room arcade game but with random rooms every time
the enemies dont work that good because of the health you waste alot of time in 1 place shooting an enemy or just running and counting the shoots you made
and some juice will be great in the game
after all its a jam and i think you can avoid it in other games
Good job :)
i dont wanna lie it was a little bit boring
I love how cute the little slimes look. Great gameplay and polish overall, I love it!
Game feel is pretty good! You must have a lot of experience making games :) enemy sprite flip when they turn, player push back when he shoots, level to level transition - nice work! Like the music too!
The art/gameplay and overall gamefeel is really nice!
Its really really! hard to beat, but i kinda like the idea! Especially because that makes you plan around when and where to kill enemies!
I like the look of the game and most of the feel of it. I did find it basically impossible to pick a corpse up when there is even a single zombie in the room with you though.
I think it’s between the AI being too accurate with its “decisions”, the time it takes to pick a corpse up, and the speed of the zombies, especially when it seems they get faster the more corpses they eat.
