The art here is spectacular, I love how the liquid in the potion is reflective of the health and the standard attack recharge. It rewards careful play. Well done!

Having a warning when you're 1 hit away from dying would be nice. The aesthetic is very charming!
For a Jam, this is a very good game, one of the best I've played so far. Love the "Health - Damage" mechanic but I may just feel it a bit to slow, maybe keep the healing cooldown to 5 seconds without taking damage, but after that regen 1 health every 2.5 seconds, that may fix the "hide and seek".
But aside that, the visuals and concept is amazing, truly an awesome job ♥
This is such a cute idea! Admittedly it took me a moment to understand that all my attacks hurt me, and I couldn't get past the first level because im trash, but it was really cute and fun! I plan to try it a little more later and hopefully figure it out a little better lol
First, I like the potion level as health indicator, it is even animated, lovely! I liked the sacrafice-type area attack too. But I maybe misunderstood something, but does the dash attack lower your health too? Or was I just slow and the enemy hit me? It felt strange. Also the health regeneration on time proposes a gameplay where the player just hides for a long time.
Good concept. The art and presentation are really good too! It was a little bit difficult to get into, due to the amount of time it takes to regen health. At some points I was just sitting behind a wall waiting, which was a bummer. I'd love there to be an HP indicator on enemies too! One time I waited fifteen seconds to get health only to learn my opponent was at 1 hp. That really sucked.
@Chill very nice game loved the art style, sfxs were fitting too, transitions were also good overall great job man :D
The game feels kind of sparse, like it's missing something? It could just be the result of the sluggish performance on my end. I found it really hard to group enemies together to use my life efficiently to attack. It felt tedious, and once I did get them together, killing them felt "meh". Interesting concept turning an action game to a puzzler.
Ahh, what a brilliant game for such a short time limit! I loved the graphic style and the concept of the game. One of the best "damage-linked-to-health" games I've seen so far.
My only concern is the sluggish gameplay, because a lot of the time spent on each level is just hit-n-running, waiting for your hp to recover. By making the game a bit more fast-paced, juicy, and some more levels+enemies, this could be a real game in the app store.
Fantastic job overall!
Great game! I love the creativity around have the character be a potion that uses its own life the kill the enemies. I love the pixel art and cover picture.
Great job, I loved the aesthetic. This game has a very clever idea too, I hope you continue to work on it.
I have a couple of suggestions:
- I was able to get through the first two tutorial levels without understanding what to do. I think I just accidentally bumped into the first guy, and the went into the circle, and on the second level I didn't realize that the attack instructions I needed were on the first level. Consider breaking up the info on each level
- Sometimes I died when I though I had just enough potion health left. Consider adding an additional visual when the player's health is so low that they shouldn't attack
Anyways, this game is really well done. Congrats!
I love this game. Fleshing out the combat even more would be awesome. Some more differences in trade off between the bash and the explosions would be cool. At first I thought it was like Splatoon where you get health back when inside the potion puddle after an explosion. The game is so cute and interesting. Awesome job.
Great presentation, but like some others have said, felt like I was waiting alot. Great concept of tying health to attacks. Would maybe be cool if the more health the stronger the attack since you would be heavier with more liquid
